This is the main restaurant of Le Gouverneur hotel in Trois-Rivières. Lunch wasn't busy at all - in fact the place looked closed. However, we were promptly stated. Food was very good - grilles sandwich with roastbeef and mushrooms was fantastic, as was the onion soup. Mussles - ok. Crème brûler - very good. Service was warm and friendly, though the server was quite paying attention to what we were asking (e.g. brought a bowl instead of a plate). Price was quite decent - just over $50 for the above lunch. For a nice hotel restaurant this was better than expected.

We ate here before attending the Cirque du Soleil show. The outdoor seating has a great view of the river and itâs in the midst of the old downtown shopping district. Service and food were excellent.

Our group of 17 people had booked at the restaurant of the Auberge du Lac Saint-Pierre in Pointe-du-Lac for a birthday lunch. The restaurant placed us in a private room, separate from the main dining area, which was perfect as there were children in our group and we felt like we were not disturbing anyone. The food was well prepared with unusual delicious appetizers, such as a creme brulee of tomatoes and a smoked duck salad. The fish of the day was fresh and well presented. Those who had the guinea-fowl as an entree were very happy with their choice. For dessert, we had ordered a birthday cake which was fresh and artistically put together. Service was impeccable.

My second visit here and the food and service was as good as ever . You do pay a price for that however but for a special occasion it is worth it . The steaks are very good.

I came here both nights of my staying in Trois-Rivieres. Sat straight away the first day, waited 20 minutes the second day. Service was pretty quick and very nice, the staff was very friendly. Food is incredibly cheap and yet very good! Quite big menu and very tasty stuff. It is a cool place and has a great atmosphere. Recommended especially if you eat a lot like me, it is really great value!

Quebecois Restaurant with maple syrup factory attached. Restaurant Quebecois avec fabrique de sirop d'érable.
Tour of the shack re making of Maple Syrup was very informative. Quaint gift shop selling liocal products and of course Maple Syrup and Maple products. Excellent is the "family Style Brunch" that's served, unlimited!!! Starting with fresh rolls and Pea soup, Maple syrup, baked maple syrup ham, baked beans, egg soufle, homefries, tourtiere, pancake, tea/coffee or I recommend their special drink of port, whisky and maple syrup....WOW!!!

Here for dinner. Place was packed. With this animated crowd, the hard surfaces of the room make for a high level of noise and somewhat difficult conversation. Noise apart, the menu has a number of interesting, unique dishes. Food is well plated and portions fair sized. Friendly, casual and efficient service. Good array of local brews. I had the IPA, as bitter as I like them. Prices in line with similar establishments.

This is a great 50/60s styled breakfast diner. The food was tasty. Great eggs and bacon, everything I expected from a diner. Excellent service and friendly staff. Great price and large portions. One of the best food experiences in Canada for typical comfort food.

We went with locals and we really enjoyed our experience. The building is old and the decor is really pleasant. It is one of the historical buildings that survived the fire. The seating is intimate. They offer an extensive selection of wines.I had a local beer and it was really good. The food offering appears on two pages. There is one option for vegetarians. Our party ordered the Cornish Hen, the stuffed squash and the porchetta. Everything was very good. The dessert was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. I look forward to returning to try other dishes.
