Went to the Blue Line Diner for breakfast. Cannot say enough of this place. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Owned by NHL Hall of Famer, Marcel Dionne, every table has a decal of an NHL team and there are tons of photos. Marcel even cleans tables if it's busy. His store is right next door and has tons of memorabilia. He chatted with us and had a photo taken with us. We loved it so much that we went there for breakfast both days we were in Niagara Falls!!!

Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch. Come in and enjoy the Niagara regions best breakfast restaurant has to offer. Eggs n Bacon, Variety of Omelettes, Pancakes, Waffles, Crepes, Fish and Chip Friday's, and a Vast Lunch Menu with Home Cooked Soups.
They really know what they are doing at the Early Bird. Eggs are delivered exactly as ordered. Dishes are presented creatively. Even the French toast leaves you with a cuddly warm feeling.BUT. Don't go to the bathroom when you are finished your meal and spoil things for yourself. There you will find the most vile sewer smell. Please please please Early Bird. Walk into your men's washroom yourself. Then call a plumber and fix it. If you don't, you will soon ruin a good business.

Wellington Court offers a relaxing atmosphere catering to diners looking for the best quality + best value. Guests will be interested to know that the restaurant is in the childhood home of Chef/Owner Erik Peacock. It is all grown up now with an interior
This restaurant was recommended for the 50th Reunion of our Grade 13 class. This small, intimate restaurant, with its pleasantly toned-down background music allowed for effortless conversation. It was the perfect venue. Menu choices are somewhat limited but each was prepared flawlessly.

Dave likens the menu to Ween's 'Pure Guava' album. An eclectic mix of foods and flavours he has picked up from working with great folks around the country and travels in China. Like Ween, food can't be pigeon-holed. A family affair, The Diner House 29 off
We've been a regular customer for the past year and I can't say enough good things about this litthe hole on the wall. Can I start with cleanliness, Excellent, extremely caring staff and the little man in the Kitchen never ceases to amaze me with all his gourmet breakfast items. Most times there might be a little wait for a table but the end result makes it all worthwhile. Overall I have to give this Gem a 5 Star rating, To Dave & Annie "You have the Magic Touch", we enjoy each and every visit.

A peculiar little bistro called mirepoix. We serve a little breakfast, and some lunch, but mostly brunch. We serve quality, handmade and freshly baked dishes, focussing on local, seasonal and organic items (wherever possible). Our small, ever changing, bl
My husband and I come to St. Catherines/Niagara several times a year to visit family and always take my elderly parents out for a meal or three when Iâm not cooking for them. Knowing this, my sister-in-law recommended Mirepoix having discovered it during a biking trip. So, today, the parents, husband and I took a drive and landed at Mirepoix. Itâs a tiny wee place with a bright yellow door. We were VERY fortunate that there happened to be a 4-top available when we arrived. (May I suggest you call for reservations). The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Service was outstanding and swift. Locally roasted coffee was excellent (brand name is â416â and we bought a bag to take home) and the food â imaginative, well presented, perfectly prepared, fresh and flavorful. My not-so-easy-to-please Mother all but licked her plate clean. She and Dad both had the mushroom omelette with truffle and chèvre. I was not offered a taste (hmmph!!!) .. but based on their two clean plates, it must have been awfully good. (by the way, Mother said she wasnât hungry when we arrived) I ordered avocado toast which had brunoise tomato-avocado on toasted homemade bread, a sprinkling of capers, a generous portion of excellent quality smoked salmon, two perfectly poached eggs and a side of baby spinach salad. Husband had the âclassic breakfastâ. Two perfect sunny-side ups, freeform sausage, roasted fingerling potatoes, baked beans, pork belly to die for. Pork belly to die for - yes, worth repeating. The eggs must be from local, very healthy and very happy hens - nearly orange yolks that had real old-fashioned egg flavor and a creamy consistency. All of our plates had two generous slices of homemade bread, toasted. Little pots of jams. Coffee refills just when you needed it. Smiles abound - both from staff and every single happy, happy diner in the place. Quality of everything was superb - and in all of our travels around the planet, this breakfast/brunch tops the list. Yes, we absolutely will be back. One word of caution for the elderly or non-ambulatory: there are three rather high stairs to climb from sidewalk to the dining room. P.S. pork belly. pork belly.

Whenever I'm in the area, I have to eat in this extraordinary restaurant at least once. And I've been doing this for 12 years now. The Benchmark Restaurant at Niagara College's Canadian Food & Wine Institute is run by students who are studying at the institute and who will be working in upscale restaurants in the future. Therefore the prices are lower than in comparable restaurants. There were two of us for dinner and we reserved a table online, which worked without any problems. The menu is appealing and there is something for every taste. As you can see in the attached photos, the dishes are professionally presented and they taste delicious. In this respect, this restaurant is better than many commercial establishments in the area. This evening the service was a bit clumsy, but this was not a problem as it was a student in training who will certainly learn a lot more. You can also choose wines made by the Wine Institute itself. All in all, this restaurant is a pleasant place to spend an evening, which is also appreciated by many other guests. Therefore a reservation is absolutely recommendable.

Love the outdoor patio. Love the atmosphere. Great entertainment, check their schedule. Pizza and wings and homemade fries are great too. Good service. I go for the fantastic music on Sunday afternoons and Wednesdays evenings. They have special events as well. Love this place

Breakfast from the menu was a disaster. Forty five minutes to get the food which was inedible. Do not even consider the turkey sausage. We stayed 2 nights and the buffet breakfast the following day was ok. Nothing special. We also had dinner, one night. The food was really good. Very large portions. Consider sharing. In spite of the breakfast problems, the service was good. Everyone tries to please (except the breakfast chef).Room could use an update with an attractive bar area which sorely lacking in this hotel.Thank you wheeleee for taking the time to write us about your dining experience with us in LIV. My family and I visited Johnny Roccos for a late lunch and our experience was just phenomenal. The food was great, the atmosphere is super friendly, and the staff are fun always smiling. We'd like to thank our server Josh for being a notable example of what true customer service is. He was so personable, professional, yet remained very relatable (never not once did he stop smiling). Our son is severely celiac and Josh knew exactly what options to modify to the detail. We would highly recommend Johnny Rocco's as the bar was set very high in our experience. You will definitely see us again!

It was a bit of a push to get me to agree but was it ever worth it. From former cotton mill to a quality restaurant in just a few years is an amazing transformation. The Keg has long been a favourite place but it was always Waterdown. This time itâs St. Catharines. The menu is standard. Classics and Steaks. I usually have Prime Rib but I changed it up and had a steak. The staff was awesome. Helped me celebrated my birthday. Food tasted great. Remember to get a reservation. Itâs a very busy place. We got lucky.
