This place serves the best pizza I've ever eaten. They serve great pizza with loads of fresh toppings on both traditional and unique menu options. They also serve by the slice, which is great for popping in before or after work. They're attached to Idgie's, but there's only standing room inside the place.

Called in here for food on a quiet Wednesday night in July. Cleared our own table outside so we could sit down. This went unavknowledged when we delivered the dirty dishes inside. Sat down and waited about 15 minutes no one came over. There were only about 10 customers in total so no real reason. Went in to ask if someone could help us and were told,â I am doing something else right nowâ, so went back out and waited a bit longer. Eventually the server came out to take drinks orders - she was quite rude to my husband when he ordered a beer. Eventually we went in to check she had the order straight as it was a bit confusing and she was so rude at that point we decided to leave. This place must be rolling in money if they can turn away customers on a slow Wednesday.Sorry for taking so long to respond to your review. I looked over the video from that day and spoke to the servers that were working.Serving is not an easy job, our severs really do try very hard to accommodate our guests in a timely and friendly manner, however, there are times...Your group entered the premises from the deck and immediately sat at a table on the deck that had just been vacated a minute before you sat at that table, which is why it had not been cleared yet. The server didn't have time to clear the table because she was inside cashing out the group that just left the table you sat at. The group wanted all their checks separated so that they could pay their bills individually. Unfortunately, this process takes time. There was another server on the floor busy looking after her section, however, she should've taken the time to greet your group and get you your drinks while your server finished up. We apologize that this didn't happen. Rudeness and arguing is unacceptable and has been dealt with. We understand your impatience by the time your server did get to your table. We have reminded our staff of the importance of helping each other out so that our guests aren't left feeling as your group did. We hope you can accept our sincere apology. I've also sent this to the other person in your party who posted a review.

Italian food served with pride. Specialty is our "Trip Around Italy", a six course dinner with dishes specific to various regions around Italy. Open only during ski season. Downtown location year round at Prestige Mountain Resort
Beautiful ambiance accompanied by spectacular cuisine. For starters I enjoyed a bowl of white bean and tomatoe soup topped with a grated cheese....delicious.Main course was a goat cheese and arugula ravioli in a light tasty lemon basil butter sauce.... Perfection. For dessert I enjoyed two cream filled cannoli ...... Amazing. The house red wine complimented the meal reflecting my impression of an overall exciting experience. Service was fantastic. Definitely return.

A good range of food options served by pleasant staff in a timely manner. It is good to be able to see the chefs working in the kitchen. There is a wide range of beer and wine.I had the ribs one night and returned again the next to have the ribs again, but it was a pity I appeared to have the same mashed potato batch as the day before.Prices were reasonable and I will be back next time I am in town.

The âShovelâ has a long and storied past and was once the location of the first helicopter flight in the world. Today, clean comfortable rooms, delicious meals and a fun filled atmosphere await you and your friends after enjoying any of the four seasonâs
Ate both a lunch and a dinner recently with friends. Most of us were from out of town. Excellent customer service from the moment we entered to our departure. The menu is very extensive for both food and drink. Very personable servers and staff. The place is pretty clean and has been renovated. We all enjoyed our meals and the various beer choices. The food arrived on a timely basis and with good portion sizes. Bathroom was clean. If you are in Rossland or passing through this is a great find for dining and drinking.

In Rossland for a conference and did dinner there. What a fabulous find, un pretentious restaurant with a fabulous menu and with an obvious excellent chef. I had the rainbow trout which was served with very well prepared seasonal vegetables and perfectly cooked rice. Paired with a lovely BC wine, simply delicious. My colleague and I shared the Ahi tuna salad, and it was simply delicious. Loved the dressing the the tuna was beautifully prepared. Will for sure go back on next trip to the area.
