We came across this delightful restaurant while cycling around Wascana Lake during a brief visit to Regina. A lovely, light-filled room with art-covered walls and comfortable, clubby leather wing chairs. With our cycling togs we felt a little inappropriately dressed but were made to feel comfortable by our friendly and attentive server. The brunch menu was creative and moderately priced. Our group ordered classic fare from eggs Benedict with back bacon to a Mexican-inspired chilaquiles and steak. Generous servings and everything was delicious. Absolutely not what one would expect at a science centre! Highly recommended.

This restaurant has been operated within the same family since 1979. At one time, it was undoubtedly Regina's finest restaurant. Unfortunately, having eaten in many restaurants both locally and throughout North America, we consider their entrée course, which should be the highlight of any dining experience, to now be average at best. This is when it comes to both qualty and presentation, and has not changed much for a long while, getting neither better nor worse. On the plus side, the restaurant has many great aspects. The appetizer, salad and dessert courses are all very good. The decor is particularly welcoming and is what one would expect at a traditional steakhouse which has been kept up to date. The walls continue to be adorned by actual paintings of Canada's Prime Ministers although our current one has yet to be added. Tables have white linen cloths. Dishes and cutlery are high quality. Seating is offered at tables and in comfortable booths. The servers and bus people are dressed in tuxedo style garb. Service is very professional and attentive, just perhaps a bit rapid for our liking, especially since during our latest visit, we pointed out at the outset that we wanted a leisurely dining experience. All said, the restaurant is busy, especially on weekends, so should you decide to go, would strongly recommend reservations.

I ordered from the lunch menu â veal cutlet sandwich. As a side I had Lemon Greek potatoes. Soup was included. I picked potato bacon soup. The tender cutlet was lightly breaded and served with very tasty gravy and some mixed veggies. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Service was excellent â timely, asked about the food, kept checking if we needed anything, refilled the water glasses before empty. Washroom was clean, tastefully decorated in tones of grey with modern fixtures. The entire décor is attractive and relaxing.

Terrific food, drinks and music all combine to a fun bar atmosphere. Wings are great, beer selection is decent. Staff are friendly. Enjoyed the decor of record covers, generated a conversation with lots of great memories. Fun time.

We call it Beer Cuisine. We have 27 taps of craft beer, much of it local, and use the flavours as key ingredients in our cooked from scratch food. Our knowledgable staff will help you find the right food and beer to Quench Your Hunger!
An excellent place to stop by for a beer and some great food. It has a large patio with umbrellas, and the sun goes behind the buildings across the street early enough so you aren't in direct sunlight all during dinner. Extensive selection of bottles and taps, and staff that know their selections and make excellent recommendations. Only tried the burger and fries, but it was very good - and a very large portion.Great place to stop for a pint on the patio !

We dined at The Keg on Friday and we had an excellent server - very attentive and informative. Unfortunately the table we were seated at was very uncomfortable, semi-circle and since we are bigger people it was tight. Not sure why we were seated there. The food was good - I wouldn't go overboard and say excellent. I had the Crispy Cauliflower for an appetizer and it was excellent - I would highly recommend that. The Caesar salad was had by three of us and they were very large - my husband and I wouldn't eat that much between the two of us. My entree was the Roasted Chicken. The chicken was quite good but I couldn't taste any garlic in the Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the Brussel Sprouts were terrible. Overall I enjoyed the meal but I wouldn't put this at my top list of places to eat. I will say my companions enjoyed their meals although two had the prime rib and ordered medium rare which was more on the rare side - even by their standards. One companion had the full rack of ribs and thoroughly enjoyed those so high praise there. Also those that had the Billy Miner pie were treated to a huge dessert which they enjoyed. As I said the service was good and the food was good just not what I expected at The Keg. Maybe it was an off night.

Went for a night out with my spouse. We decided to try Golfâs Steak House and it did not disappoint. Our server was Jackie, she has worked there for 20 years and provided us with excellent service. The food was fantastic with lots of variety. We will be going again.

Asked locals about where to get "local" food. Had the Hot Plate with sausage, kraut, cabbage rolls and pergolies(mentioned as a specialty...just potatoes in a dumpling wrap, nothing special,). Nothing wrong ,just not something I would go back for. A large menu available. $22 for the Hot Plate.

My husband and I enjoyed our meal immensely last night.I had the roasted lamb and my husband had the stuffed chicken, we shared the tiropita, cheese pie as an appetizer, and for desert the molten chocolate butterscotch cake, delicious!Excellent wine list.Excellent service. The owner is there working the restaurant to ensure everyone is happy. Our waiter was wonderful, taking time to explain different items on the menu, we never felt rushed or like we were asking to many questions. The ambiance was warm and romantic, I loved our little cubby, it was private, allowing us to have the romantic evening we were after.I highly recommend Memories, there is something on the menu to accommodate all pallets, and a wine list that made my mouth drop.Excellent experience.Dear guest.Thank you so much for your very kind and wonderful comments and for your time to express them to all TripAdvisor members. We are extremely happy that your experiences were amazing, we always ensure that your dining memories with us are fantastic. We are looking forward to your next visit, until then please keep healthy and spread the good word around.Thomas Siarkos Owner
