Food was okay, basic pub food. The beef dip could definitely have had some horseradish or mayo as it was just a bit dry.Main complaint would be waitresses non attentive and chatting amongst themselves instead of checking on us

We offer a full service Restaurant which is open from 7am to 8pm (9pm in summer months). We make our own bread and buns and soups. We serve local bacon and sausage. There is plenty of parking for truckers with 24 hour washrooms available. The Motel is ver
We had a relaxing lunch of a schnitzel burger with a mushroom soup. The burger was very good and the soup was tasty but a little thin. The service was super and the decor with the many signs were entertaining. Maybe next time I'll have room for a dessert. They looked yummy :)

We, two 70+ Seniors, visit the Cariboo Hotel from time to time to enjoy their quality baron of beef meal with an ample garden salad. On Tuesdays, you can enjoy a $0.75 discount on a pint of Black Label draft beer for $4.00.On this occasion we had good service and the atmosphere was at an acceptable noise level although sometimes in the past we have left without ordering because of the noise level and foul language.I have tried to contact Jennifer Jones, the manager, by email several times but I cannot get any response even though my email goes through OK. Long ago, she used to respond and answer my enquiries but not anymore.Even though this is a pub, there should be an acceptable level of behavior for patrons and if the foul language and excessive noise is created, these patrons should be escorted out of the building, out of respect for those patrons who know how to behave in public.

We spent a week in quesnel and surrounding. Stayed at the hotel and had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. It is clean, the waiters are very polite and forthcoming. Breakfast is good and rich. For a hot breakfast take the Mexican Skillet. Dinner is great as well, French Onion Soup is a must, so is the Cesar salad with teriyaki beef.

A little different from what I am used to eating. Greek salad was good. Calamari was tender and nicely done. Ckicken and lamb souvlaki was a bit on the dry side and a tasted charred. Will try it again with another menu choice

No fancy frills, no stuffed shirt attitude. Just real people and great food. Everything you want in a steakhouse - only casual.
Frankly, the evening dining choices in Quesnel are few, especially if you want a a beer or wine with your meal.We did some scouting around and settled for Mr Mikes, and let me tell you, I'm glad we did.We had a great evening and amazingly for Canada, there was ambience. The food was great, the service was superb, and it was the least expensive meal we have had on this trip by quite some margin,Highly recommended and possibly the place to go in Quesnel if you are looking for Canadian dining that doesn't feel as if you are sitting in Burger King. This place saved my sanity. Thanks for checking us out and taking the time to share your experience! I'm happy to hear our team took great care of you and wish you all the best in your travels. We hope to see you the next time you're through Quesnel.

Little restaurant, more of a hole in the wall with a guy trying to make it by wearing too many hats. We went for the Indian food but it was really lacking. The owner was really nice and I got to have a cream ale which was special. Too bad about the food.HeHe! I think you got the hats part right, I think you are mistaken for another restaurant. We donât have liquor license, we donât carry cream ale or any other ales. Next time you. Are in town please stop and see me and we have a great meal for you Cheers Jas Sabbarwal

Very good food. Some of the best I have had. Had the Sunday special. Cod fish and chips. Good thick fillets in an excellent batter. Batter was nice and light and crispy. Just perfect. Topped off with homemade cheese cake and homemade ice cream. This place is a real gem. Owners are really nice as well. It is obvious they take pride in their place. This will be my main haunt when I come through Quesnel again.
