PizzAxl's Pizza has the freshest stone oven Pizza in Port Stanley. We make our dough daily and roll out every Pizza to order. We use only the freshest ingredients. All of our delicious hand tosses Pizzas are baked to perfection in our authentic stone oven
I placed an order for 3 different fried treats (battered mushrooms, pickles and onion rings). They were all tasty, classic fried fare, but the value was abysmal. It was 22$ for 3 small servings of deep fried vegetables, about a handful of food in each take out basket. The cost should have been about 12-15$ all told, every other pizza place I've been to either gives more or charge less, sometimes both. Now why would a nice little place charge so much? Well, Port Stanley is a tourist town and this was February. How else will these businesses stay afloat during the low season? The population of the town drops significantly in winter and many businesses don't survive, naturally. This is why I support Basic Income, to help the hard working people just trying to stay afloat, to establish a positive foundation for all citizens. So it's unfortunate that they ripped me off but the major problem here is the lack of support we have in society for those at the more vulnerable end of the scale, I don't really blame Pizza Axl's Pizza, but I would hope in future they could try and make an effort to help the issue in some way.

Last day in Port Stanley and this restaurant was very close for brekkie. Our friends joined us as well. We were greeted in a friendly manner and we found our friends who arrived before us. Lots on the menu to choose from and 3 of us had omelettes and the other scrambled eggs. Two of us added the perch to our omelettes. 4 perch fillets cooked to perfection and the sweet potatoes hash browns plus the omelette was very filling. Lots of coffee and everyone was content.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday late afternoon. It was nice out so we decided to sit on their patio. The patio is well laid out with lots of space so you do not feel you are being cramped in. Our waitress Ashley was adorable. She was friendly and attentive. Her personality just made our experience even better. For our dinner we shared a mushroom appetizer and it was amazing. A portabello mushroom with a hummus spread. Very good. For our main course my wife had the curry scallops and I had the turkey pot pie. Both were very good. Many reviews speak of the prices being high for what you get. The quality is very high here. If you are looking at a biggie size meal, this is not the place. The sizes are just right for a normal diet and every bite is enjoyable. Highly recommend.

It's your typical bar. Nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. My buddy really loved the "pound of perch" here. And you can play pool for free.

My wife and I and another couple ate dinner here prior to seeing a play at the local theater. My wife's perch and chips and my large-cut prime rib were delicious. My wife's chardonnay and my martini were very reasonable priced. After our arrival at 6:30 p.m. we informed our server that we had to be at the theater for 8 p.m. She most graciously accommodated our request and we were served quickly, thereby not having to rush our meal. We will be returning in the near future, even though we live in London.

GT's on the Beach has an awesome location ON THE BEACH! The atmosphere is great, but for your money, this time, my wife and I found the place to be quite disappointing. An almost $60 meal, with tax and tip, for a chicken club that the chicken seemed to be that "processed" type of chicken breast. My wife's perch and chips were a mixed bag, one piece was cold to the touch, the other two were normal temperature. Service was non-existent except to take our order and come and take our plates and get paid. When we were here two years ago, the service was much friendlier and helpful. This time, my daughter has to ask for her freezie that's supposed to come with a kids meal (she was not impressed with her chicken fingers as well). Stuff like that, you really notice. Maybe it was just a bad day for the servers, but the food quality for us was noticeable. GT's may be awesome place for a drink or three, but I'd take your food purchasing dollars elsewhere if this is the quality of grub you get for you dollar. Also, to park right at GT's costs you money, keep that in mind at $3.00 an hour.

We were there Sunday evening and had the special âbeef Cheeksâ and the Creme Brûlée. Both were delicious. The wine at $5.00 a glass was a great idea. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the restaurant with friends.

Reservations for 4 of us made after theater, seated in tablecloth tabled room, but no other patrons - should have been our first clue, 2 ordered steak, 1 ordered lamb, I ordered salmon. No one enjoyed the tough steak, overcooked lamb and salmon, vegi's arrived black and burned, we had to ask what they were! Waitress knew no of us were happy but didn't offer something else, instead kept her distance and then offered us dessert on the house after we all declined dessert or coffee/tea, we just wanted out of there. Did you hire a fast food chef? Perch taco's were terrible. Calamari was burned and crispy. Free dessert doesn't cut it, we won't be back, which is unfortunate because we'd been patronizing this restaurant for the last 10 years, we've even stayed at their quaint inn.
