Have been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and glad I finally found the occasion. Had the lunch rice paper wrap, stuffed with fresh veggies, tofu and pickled mushroom and it was deliciously tasty. Topped off with a mango lassi smoothy and this made for a great summer lunch. My friend enjoyed her more typical grilled cheese but made with fresh locally baked multigrain bread and a great tomato salsa on the side. Will be dropping by whenever I'm back in the area.

Breakfast spot a favourite of locals, almost don't want to give away this secret, but their food is excellent and their service great, they totally deserve the recognition!
This is a great breakfast place. One of the musts are your choice of homemade bread to have toasted along with the choices of homemade jam. The eggs are always cooked to perfection and the home fries are about as good as you will find anywhere. I have had the bacon as well as the peameal bacon here before and both were very good being cooked correctly. This time I tried the sausage. That was a big mistake. These are basically no name discount breakfast sausage. Which is very unfortunate. These are tasteless tubes of filler and fat with very little actual meat. Again, I say unfortunate as these are way below the quality of the other breakfast components, actually damaging the overall breakfast. Again, unfortunate as there are many choices of quality locally made tasty sausages that can be sourced. I left most of these tasteless tubes on the plate, as I just could simply not eat this. Overall a decent breakfast which could have been great with quality tasty sausage. In future, unless they upgrade drastically, I will not ever order sausage here again. The rest of the meal was excellent.

The restaurant is nice - comfortable chairs, nice views, clean and bright. The wait staff was attentive and the food was good. The menu is simple and has something for everyone. I had a burger with a Greek salad. Both were quite good. My son had a large Greek salad and chicken bites. He said both were very good. The service was very quick and we have a very pleasant, well-timed meal. Hi dylangh94,Thank you for posting this delightful review for our restaurant. It is great to see that you enjoyed the atmosphere, service and product here. Hopefully we will see you again soon!

We needed home cooked food after a week of travelling and chain restaurants, takeaways. Proper fish and chips ( with chunky chips) not fries. Delicious prime rib with Yorshire pud. Good daily specials. Stay away from the chain restaurants and visit the Boot & blade. Lovely waiting staff too. Don't let the location ( strip mall) put you off its a wee gem!

We didn't realize this restaurant closes everyday at 3pm. We arrived for dinner to locked doors, was very disappointing. We went for breakfast the next morning, and loved it. We both got the big breakfast with 3 meats - the breakfast sausages were great! We picked up a "chicken and fixins" meal deal to enjoy for dinner. We got a huge box of fries which were great. The chicken was good, not great. We were expecting crispy country fried chicken. It was house breaded, and well done, but not crispy at all. They also only had 2 salads to offer - cole slaw or carrot/raisin. What? No potato?? The gravy was good but the biscuits were dry. I think we had ourselves all hyped up for a great meal of country fried chicken and were a little let down. We will be back for breakfast if we ever come back to Owen Sound, and maybe something else off the menu, but we will pass on the chicken.

Norma Jean's opened it's doors in 1984 and has been a local favourite for 30 years. Offering a wide range of food and brews/spirits for every walk of life. Drawing inspiration from many cultures and culinary styles. Norma Jean's also includes daily lunch
Ordered burgers and they did not disappoint! Large juicy patties cooked just right. Surprisingly bacon & onion rings are among the standard items on these burgers. Sides had features that added to the experience - homemade dressing on the caesar, fresh cut fries. Food took a little while to come but was well worth the wait!

Remember when âfamily restaurantâ was a sign youâd find great home-style food served in a clean friendly atmosphere at a reasonable price? Itâs right here!! Perfectly tender crispy pork schnitzel, delicious paprika-sprinkled grilled homefries, juicy burgers, crispy fries, vinegar on the table (a Canadian staple for French fries!) and delicious pies and tarts for dessert. Yum!

Stumbled upon this amazing little spot. Everything we ordered was delicious. I forget our waitresses name, but she was friendly, quick and made sure we were taken care of. We sat on the restaurant side but the bar side looked fun. Canât wait to go back to try the crab melt!

Small, family owned business. Back-home style cooking. Featuring fresh baking, homemade soups, famous fish and chips. Eat in or Take Out. Open Daily.
We were there about 5:30pm on a Tuesday night. We're not quite sure if it is the acoustics in this restaurant or the people that were in it. The noise was deafening! We had to yell at each other to hear each other. The food was good, but we didn't care because we had a headache once we left. I asked the server how she manages working with this noise level, and she said the same thing. She goes home with a headache every night. I have no idea what the solution is for them, but all I know is that we will not be back. We did not enjoy our meal.

We celebrated my wifeâs Birthday with dinner at Nathanielâs, and it was a wonderful evening! We started with the combination appetizer platter. 4 bacon wrapped scallops, four chilled jumbo shrimp, and two pieces of Bruschetta. While everything was very good, I have to say the Bruschetta was incredible! I have no idea what type of Balsamic was drizzled on it, but the taste was incredible. For mains, my wife had one of the three fish specials, a Cajun spiced catfish, while I opted for the 6 oz striploin and lobster tail. Both meals were perfect! The fish was cooked perfectly, as was my steak. A nice sear on the outside, but still managing to deliver a perfect medium rare cook! As for the lobster, I was a little leery, as I assumed the tail would have been frozen, and as a result, could be a little rubbery. While it may have been frozen (not sure) it certainly was perfect! Sweet, tender, and perfectly cooked. Presented pulled out of the shell, and served with hot garlic butter, it looked beautiful. Both dinners came with fresh vegetables, and choice of Rice Pilaf or a baked potato. We both opted for the rice, which was also cooked perfectly. For desert, a chocolate raspberry cake that was amazing! Not overly sweet, but so delicious. Our server, Corey, was wonderful, and ensured out all of our needs were looked after, while not being intrusive.Great job to all for an amazing dinner!
