So went up another time as my friends wanted to food hasn't changed menu hasn't changed. Food is standard pub food but made poorly. Everything tastes out of a packet Sorry to hear about your experience . Unsure what you had for dinner because we make most of our menu in house . We have gone back back to a neighbourhood pub without children . We tried children for two summers and were not set up for it .

High expectations dashed within seconds as waitress could not care less. Cutlery thrown on the table. Refused sun umbrella so had to physically move our tables ourselves for shade. Parasol became available and had to also move ourself. Halfway through dinner the waitress took the parasol from our table for another table without any conversation with us. When we questioned the waitress she said it was because they had reserved a table at which point we stated ours was also a reservation. General attitude appalling and no standard of customer service.. And the food was not all that. If you want to be treated like you don't matter and enjoy over priced tasteless food, this is the place for you.

After standing at the front door waiting to be seated in an empty restaurant for 10 minutes and not even being acknowledged by staff we sat ourselves. Sat at the table for 15 minutes until a moody server showed up, when asked about the lack of service was in turn asked to leave the restaurant. Gladly got up to leave, asked to speak to manager on the way out the door and was informed that the grumpy, moody server was in fact the manager. Lack of service and management will be the end of this buisness.

Casual Pub, Great food, Live Music regularly, Karaoke on the first Saturday of Every Month and Always a Good Time..
We were overnighting in Naramata so we ventured up the road to the Pub for dinner ! What a great experience. Micro brewery beers on tap. Local Okanagan wines. Our meals were just excellent. Our server was so friendly and helpful. She made sure we got the position "A" table on the patio. The locals were so friendly as well. Gave us lots of local knowledge.

We have eaten all over North America and Zia's is one of the best. Great selection at very reasonable prices. The restaurant was packed but the service was quick and friendly. I cannot find a single thing to fault.*****

Took our two young daughters for family dinner night of July 20. Glad we did. We've been going to this restaurant in its incarnations since 2001. Manager now is excellent and unflustered despite being short a staff body. Excellent local selection of wine and ice cold, delicious beer. Salads, steak, halibut, gnocchi all solid choices. I encourage regulars to get back and enjoy a nice dinner in the grotto. Hope 1908 thrives.. It deserves to.

Had a great dinner - via Chef Bongo - the barbeque with 4 salads. Very flavourful, unexpected treat for a small town restaurant. At breakfast we made our order - and something different came out (errors made by staff on both our orders). Mistakes happen - no problem. But then another staff person approached us and told us what we ordered (incorrectly) - but they would accommodate our change. Am surprised that owners/staff would not begin the conversation believing the customer. Strange way to develop repeat business.

Wow. This pizza was awesome. Best homemade pizza dough I have ever had. The wholewheat crust was fluffy and airy. Toppings the best combination made this pizza gourmet. We had a mango Currie chicken pizza and a triple a. Asparagus artichoke Asiago pizza. Both tasted delicious. The girl at the front was friendly and helpful in getting our order right.

This time, I was there for breakfast. My friend had pancakes with eggs and whipped cream among other things. I had the breakfast sandwich with the special home fries and fruit. It was all delicious. Of course, the bread was home baked. No need for lunch after this breakfast. This is a family run restaurant. Call to be sure they are open 778-514-1414. Normally they are closed Monday & Tuesday.

Pet-friendly, most enjoyable meal on a sunny August afternoon. Did a slightly perfunctory tasting while we waited for our table, but the wines were delicious and the pairings for the menu items were excellent. Antipasti and burgers at our table were thoroughly enjoyed.
