Kaylees is the new name of this restaurant it is a familly place, family owned and pizzas are as good as they get but all their food is good, never had a bad meal after Manny visits the staff is courteous, great Canadian cuisine.
My brother and I went there for lunch. I ordered the 2 piece chicken meal with fries and gravy. My brother had the fish and chips. And we shared an order of shrimp. The gentleman serving us was very nice and friendly. The food was really good. My brother said the fish was excellent b/c the batter was nice and light and very crisp. The coleslaw was good as well. I would definitely eat there again. The location is where the Sea Star used to be. When it was the Sea Star, the decor was nice but quite dark. They totally redid everything and it is bright and airy now. The washroom is redone, and it was spotless. The whole restaurant is very clean.

My companion kidded me that she wouldn't bring me to any restaurant again after taking me to Casey's! Why? Because she was hungry and I was taking forever to make up my mind from the fabulous selection of offerings on the menu. We both ended up taking something that Casey's doesn't show on the menu but my friend knew they still served it: chicken parmesan. And wow, was it good! But before the entree, we both had soup. She had the French Onion that looked exactly as shown in the menu photos...rare! I selected their amazing red pepper soup. It was thick, full of flavour and so substantial I almost didn't need my entree. We certainly had no room left for dessert! Our waitress was friendly and kept checking if we were happy with our food. She didn't need to worry. Both she and Casey's food deserve 5 stars!

During our recent tour of Ontario we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Kapuskasing. Having arrived somewhat later than anticipated we checked with the front desk to find a restaurant for Dinner. They recommended Papa Franco's just down the road from our Hotel. We arrived about 30 minutes before normal closing time but asked if it was too late to be served to which they cheerfully said come on in! What a find. The staff was cheerful, accomodating and set us up quickly. The food was outstanding at a reasonable cost. We cannot recommend this Restaurant more highly but just wish it was closer to where we live as we would be regulars. Top notch in every way. We ended up chatting with the owner and staff and they never rushed us out the door notwithstanding the lateness of the hour just so good as to take our desert as takeout which too, was superb.Thank you so much for all your comments. We appreciate you have taken the time to post and we are thrilled you have enjoyed your experience.Joanne & Pierre

We ordered the Baked Brie for an appetizer, it came on a rectangular plate with grapes, apple, baked brie in phyllo, crackers in cream cheese. Wow, we didn't expect such a presentation, and it was very good. After that we each had a bowl of Tomato soup, again very good (just a tad too salty). By the time we finished, the waitress came around with a plate of beautiful desserts, but we really couldn't eat any more. Dinner came to about $48 (including a glass of wine and a beer). Pretty good, glad we stopped here!
