This is our favourite local pub. The food is great, the ambiance outstanding. Cozy place to meet friends and make new ones. The burgers are always great but we usually order a number of items to share. Make a reservation - the place is popular and very tiny.

We stopped in with family on a Monday early afternoon, so had the place almost to ourselves. Drinks were served right away and orders taken....lots of choices from all day breakfast to fish and chips. Our party ordered fish and chips, chicken fingers, an omelette and their basic breakfast. Everything was excellent....and leftovers were taken home for the fish and chips! Service was friendly and reasonably fast and we were not rushed out of the place after our meal. Looks like a nice little patio for the summer as well. Great little spot!

We came here for lunch during a weekday so it was not busy at all. The server was very bright and cheerful and took our drink orders right away (no alcohol here). Our food orders were then taken...and were delivered very quickly. The food was hot and the halibut and slaw were excellent. The fries were good too, but we like ours done a little more than most. Portions were very good - in fact, all of us had fries left over, so we could have ordered extra fish and just shared the fries from one dinner.

We were greeting by warm, friendly, help staff. Very nice pub decor. Great beer selection and well rounded menu. Had a salad, shepherd's pie poutine and wings. Really good, fresh, homemade food. Can't wait to go back next time we visit the area.

No matter what country we live in, when we visit our holiday cottage near Cobourg, ON Canada, we must visit Jimâs Pizza. Our familyâs absolute favorite Pizza!!I first visited this Jimâs when the original owners opened it it the early 70s, and have enjoyed their pizzaâs ever since. The nice current Greek couple owners (15yrs+) are also like family to us, always taking the time to catch up and chat. All the components are made on-site, the ingredients fresh, and their dough and home-made sauce are amazing.A treat for us whenever we are in the area.

Went for lunch with some friends to try out the new restaurant. From the moment we arrived we all felt a little uncomfortable with the initial service and attitude of the server. It was as if she didnât want to be serving. There was no warm fuzzy feeling, more a cold indifference to our being there. We thought maybe she was management and was filling in for someone. Anyway, when among good friends you can often shrug off the negatives so we ordered our food and drinks and were all very pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation of the food. The Cucina Urbana pizza with a splash of their chilli oil was one of the best Iâve ever tasted. Everyone in our party raved about their meals. Despite the serverâs attitude we will probably give the place another try and hopefully get a different server, the food is certainly worth the risk!

CJ's has been family owned for 25 years. Originally a Casey's Bar and Grill, we have had the opportunity to become independent as of June 1, 2015. We are passionate about guest service, value and quality. Our goal in the relaunch as CJ's has been to bring
Found out and read about this restaurant on TripAdvisor. Believed the rave reviews and was not disappointed. I had the Montreal Smoked Meat with a chicken noodle soup (instead of fries). Sammy was awesome. And the soup was a total pleasant surprise. Soup was homemade for sure with lots of chicken vegetables and noodles. My wife wanted to have the sandwich too but I convinced her to try something different so she went for the Chicken parm. Was totally awesome too. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I have been to Craft House several times because my friends like it but frankly I am not a fan....sorry guys!! I am not crazy about the selection and I don't think the food quality is really there. I also find it really noisy. I went for the Moroccan dinner because friends of mine bought me a ticket and it was OK but not a WOW. I expect more....sorry!!

Went with my daughter for breakfast. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Food came in a timely fashion and was hot and delicious. Very good experience. Would recommend it for breakfast - and will look forward to checking it out for lunch or dinner.

A favourite spot for quiet intimate dining, the romantic, centrally located restaurant at The Woodlawn Inn has been welcoming guests since 1988. A favorite with locals The Woodlawn Inn also hosts Northumberland County's premiere weddings and special event
Enjoyed an overnight at the beautiful Woodlawn Inn in Cobourg, Ontario (see separate review) and had dinner in their restaurant on a Sunday evening. At 7PM the place was filled with people enjoying superbly prepared food by attentive and efficient servers. This is not a place for children - but more for a romantic evening, a special occasion or just friends getting together for a delicious dinner. They feature a Chefs Table and a Prix Fixe four course menu as well as a regular menu with enough options to please any palate. The wine list is extensive and when ordering a bottle of wine - it is graciously decanted at your table. Food presentation was to a high standard and we enjoyed every morsel. We will definitely go back for dinner again in the near future. This Inn seems to be a hidden gem in Cobourg, Ontario - who knew? Lovely, lovely spot.Dear MarleyandMike, Thanks so much for your lovely review. I will be sure to share your comments with the staff. We try to offer a calm and romantic environment where and even though the vibe gets a bit busy we still try to provide special attention to our guests. I am delighted that you enjoyed dinner and whenever the occasion warrants, your hidden gem in Cobourg welcomes you!Sincerely, Stephen Della Casa
