We twice bought sandwiches for takeout. The fillings were very generous! There is a good choice of bread, wraps, ciabatta etc. Takeout sandwiches are presented in individual little cardboard containers so they are easy to transporT. Everything is prepared from scratch so be prepared to wait.

Every year I visit PKâs at least once. My favourite menu item are the wedges, which are thick cut fries tossed in chicken batter. We also love getting their pizza, but unfortunately my trip was very short this year and I didnât get to visit a second time. The staff are always so friendly and the restaurant has great wifi as well!
Absolutely amazing!!!This is hands down one of the best homemade cupcakes I have had. The texture of the cupcake is definitely homemade, moist and flavourful. The butter cream icing is smooth and creamy. The tops are well decorated and beautifully presented in the showcase. After making a tough decision of which to try we went with the jam jam one which was heavenly. Prices are very reasonable 2.75 per cupcake given they are homemade. Locals are very lucky to have such a great shop in their community. This cozy little shop is a short walk from all major downtown attractions and well worth the visit while visiting Bonavista.

We are Bonavista's only ocean front Cafe offering a selection of soups, sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, tea, espresso, cappuccino, latte. We also offer Picnic's in a carry out basket and bicycle rentals!!
Lovely location and decor, Trivial pursuits cards/cards/board games to play, lovely cakes and drinks. Took 45 minutes to make toasted sandwiches though. We weren't in a hurry so it was fine, but take into consideration at this charming cafe everything happens slowly. We have busy lives so needed to slow down anyway, lovely views of the ocean :)

This was our second, and third (or maybe third and fourth), visit to this little café. It is fairly basic, tables, chairs, cool pics on the walls and friendly staff. The service is a little slow but everything we ate was home made and delicious. The black bottom cakes (we know them as farm-cakes) were delicious and all the desserts looked like stuff Grandma makes.

Skipper's Restaurant serves up a broad menu of homemade, delicious meals. We serve Atlantic crab, local lobster, salmon, mussels (all when in season) Atlantic Cod, cod tongues, scallops, shrimp- just to name a few seafood options, as well as grilled chick
Good service, fried fish was some of the best I had, nice atmosphere, deck outside provides great view of harbour. Only beef I have here is they donât know how to pour pint of beer, twice pint was served with beer over inch short from filling glass, not cool @ over 8$ a pint

We ate in a semi private room on the main floor and for a group of 5, it was great. The food was creative, fun and delicious. A lot of the ingredients were local and fresh. The staff and service were excellent. The price was reasonable. The wine list was limited but satisfactory. We would recommend you make reservations for dinner. They tend to not answer the phone or emails, so if booking the same day, try the phones until you get an answer.

After a day of hiking we happened upon this place. A wood burning fire pizza joint in the middle of no where with a fantastic view! The pizza was good but not great. I've had better and worse. The view made up for everything else. The waitresses were friendly but the people behind the counter all looked miserable. I understand why its expensive as its an island and everything has to be shipped in but I didn't feel as some in these reviews, that the toppings were sparse except the basil. The cheese was overflowing which I like. I do think its worth the drive to sit and enjoy the view. Split a pizza if its too expensive for you but do enjoy the view.

Open June-Oct. Ideally located on the main street of Bonavista across from the Post Office and a 30 second walk to MIFFLIN'S HERITAGE INN & the Garrick Theatre. This tastefully decorated, handicap accessible tea room is a full fledged restaurant, part of
This cosy little tea room with a long and personal history serves great Newfoundland food. Both the Cod au Gratin and the Newfoundland sampler were great, only beaten by the rich, tasty chowder the like of which I have not had for decades. Add to this the distinguihed and charming service of a real Mifflin decendant, the lovely atmosphere in the small tea room, the delicious collection of homebakes pies and very reasonable prices and you have the perfect, authentic dining experience and hospitality.
