I love the wheel, it is a staple of the community in antigonish. It may appear like a hole in the wall but if you love cheesy deliciousness you should stop here. After the bar they sell slices which are idea and quick! If you want to eat pizza later they sell dough and such so you can make your own! Their subs are filling and delicious and their atheats meal is extremely filling!

I have never sent food back and i did his time...was not charged for it as i said i would not.....just wish that they could have done more that would have been complimentary as the other 3 family members wih me paid for this horrible service from the kitchen. it was toast and hash browns...how coukd u screw it up...

The Waffle Bus first began without any wheels. Our waffles were introduced through the Antigonish Farmer's Market and as our products gained popularity, we decided to expand and take our waffles on the road attending festivals, farmer's markets and specia
We (Mom, Dad, 2 teenagers) went here after reading some reviews & wanting something that was not fast food. We were a bit skeptical about the outside appearance but the staff was very friendly & the place looked clean inside (very tiny inside - better to eat outside or take away). The waffle sandwiches were completely delicious - 3 of us had the steak & cheese, 1 had the grilled cheese. Everyone was happy. The sandwiches were a good size, we all felt satisfied. Definitely recommend this place. I can see becoming addicted to these sandwiches.

We stopped by for lunch on our way south from Cape Breton. The owner was very friendly and our meals were delicious. My wife had the roasted chicken and said it was excellent. I had the crispy chicken wrap and it was also very good. Friendly and quick service with big portions. Highly recommend.

After reading reviews and hearing about it from friends and family, I had high expectations for supper. It was not overly busy as it was midweek but the service was mediocre, we waited a long time for our bill and to place our order. The coconut shrimp was very good. Our mains took awhile and when we got them the fish and fries were warm and my the greens in my salad were soggy and I didn't eat most of them.

The Brownstone is a family friendly restaurant offering delicious and unique cuisine ranging from warm oven-baked sandwiches and gourmet burgers to Mediterranean inspired dishes, such as their signature entree, the Chicken Souvlaki. Enjoy homemade dessert
Brownstone is right downtown. Found parking pretty easily (it is the off season). Itâs a chic but small and cosy type of place. The seafood chowder is good but not the best weâve had. The fish and chips were really good though. The batter was crispy and the fish was perfectly cooked and flakey. My wife had the maple burger. We found out that Canada has a law that requires you to order your burger âwellâ. We are definitely âmediumâ people. It did have less flavor and wasnât really juicy at all. Make sure you ask for extra maple syrup from the very beginning to offset the dryness of the by law overdone burger. Overall a good meal costing around 45-50 CAD for 1 bowl of chowder, 1 burger and 1 fish and chips. David, it is true, that in Canada, restaurants must cook ground beef burgers until there is "no pink" left. This is to ward off foodborne illnesses that can occur from the pathogens in ground beef if they are not "killed off" by cooking such meat to the proper internal temperature. Our ground beef is always purchased locally and fresh, and is never frozen, which generally allows our burgers to remain super juicy. Our burgers are a staple and what we are often best known for so I am very disappointed to hear your Scotia Burger fell short in remaining juicy. Thank you for taking the time to review us! It's appreciated. Cheers, Shawna Christian - Manager

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise during our one-night stay in Antigonish. The environment was warm and intimate. But the food: Amazing! Great mussels! Really, really good. My husband had a lobster chowder and it was great, too...full of seafood. Only wish i lived there so i good go all the time.
