Where to start ? Alessandra very helpful in helping with planning trips, providing timetables etc and is very friendly with good English. Camp site very clean and into recycling with large level gravel pitches and water and drainage on each pitch .Key to own bathroom , perhaps shared when busy. Access to beach and calm sea, great with surf shoes as ground is stony on entering sea . Shower block new and very clean , washing machine €4 takes money , hot/ warm showers , no time limit . Quiet a night , only occasional dog barking in distance, not a problem . Van with bread veg drinks cheese visits every morning .Supermarket and town 950m away , walkable . Train only 10 minutes walk from campsite to the railway station, Zapulla , can catch frequent trains from there to Messina (really great regional museum)in one direction and Cefalu in the other direction .Milazzo is a few stops up the line ,where you can catch daily ferries to the Aeolian Islands .Buses nearby too .Brand new bungalows on site , very clean and comfortably furnished .Cap d' Orlando is 5 km up coast . We loved staying here , so friendly and helpful . We will be back for longer we hope .Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay (special offer low season third night 5€ only )

Great site just up the hill from the town 15 mins walk or 5 mins or less on a bike.......going down. It is not steep. Level gravel park with views down over town and sea beyond. Plenty of space - ideal for big outfits. Electric, Showers, wash up, wifi all good. Very helpful friendly owners (family, very easy going. Otranto is our favorite town having visited most the main places on the "Stiletto" of Italy. Nice spots to swim, interesting town not too big or commercial and great cycle rides. Plenty of choice restaurants in town from 6 euros for a Pizza upwards and some very nice inexpensive places too.

This motorhome campsite is perfect for a few nights. Efficient, quiet, clean and pretty sure run by helpful and friendly hosts. You can walk everywhere but bicycles or a moped would make it quicker and easier. Shaded parking areas. No fancy facilities but what there is is clean and sufficient and well maintained. Loved it!
