Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence “Hall of Fame” winner, Robert Frost Mountain Cabins offer spacious, artisan-crafted, timber frame cabins with spectacular mountain views. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen, living/dining room and screened back porch. Nestled on 112 acres bordering the Green Mountain National Forest, our charming cabins include all of the contemporary comforts and are conveniently located near Middlebury and a short distance from Middlebury College’s Main and Bread Loaf Campuses. We offer year round short term or extended stay lodging.
Our expectations for the Robert Frost Cabins were high, given all of the rave reviews, but they weren’t just met, but were exceeded. We stayed in Cabin #2, Sunrise Vista, and it looked brand new, even though we knew it wasn’t. It was absolutely pristine. It’s spacious enough and well equipped enough to make a perfect base for a long-term stay; unfortunately, our stay was limited to three days. Carol and Marty are extremely personable and kind and strike the perfect balance of being welcoming but not intrusive. And yes, the cinnamon twists provided on the first morning of your stay lived up to their scrumptious reputation! The cabins are also in an excellent location for making interesting day trips. In a word, they are perfect.

Buttery lobster rolls, sunny Atlantic beaches, and changing fall leaves are just a few of the reasons to explore the iconic Cape Cod locale. Our newest AutoCamp location is situated close to the shore, just a few minutes from both Falmouth and Woods Hole. Cozy, classic, and a little bit wild, find out for yourself why this spot is one of the best places for making timeless memories.
AutoCamp has thought of everything one needs to enjoy a few night in nature! This place is very posh, from the modern/mid century decor in the clubhouse to the large showers in the airstream! They have everything available from toiletries to s’mores kits as well as bbq items to grill up for dinner! AutoCamp is the right choice if you want to enjoy camping without all the work!

The facilities were dirty and disgusting. The showers were cold and the floors in the bathroom were muddy and gross all weekend. And there is no quiet time with other campers blaring music and yelling until we’ll after midnight.

This was a fun experiences until..... they started to reduplicate charges 6 months after the visit, and a year after the vistit, and 3 years after the visit. We went there in 2019. We contacted them when we first saw the 6month transaction and they said it was a glitch in the system. That any card used for the food stand did not processed. Same thing with the2nd time the same amount was withdrew. and the 3rd time, I had to contact my bank to dispute those charges.

Amazing place!! Went off-season so it was quiet. The place was so clean. Staff so friendly and courteous. Tents are facing away from each other which offers great privacy. The pond is gorgeous and so clean. Missed the option to take a canoe ride but ran out of time. Definitely will be back with my family!

Cabin was super clean, warm, and quiet. Bed was very comfortable and staff were wonderful. Cabin has well equipped kitchen, oven and stove, microwave and fridge, WiFi , TV, and phone. There’s also an outdoor charcoal grill, but staying in mid December I passed on that. I’m looking forward to my next visit there.

Was war toll?

Robinson's Cottages has been owned and operated by the Robinson family for 4 generations. The first cottage was built in 1920. Currently, my husband Bill and I run the cottages. There are 6 cottages - 3 on the Dennys River, 3 on Robinson's Pond. All cottages are made from hand-hewn logs harvested from the surrounding area. The current cottages were built in the 1950's and 60's. All have modern appliances and amenities. Nestled in the heart of Downeast Maine, our cottages are a peaceful retreat. You can enjoy fishing, canoeing, swimming and more. We are within 30 minutes from a variety of coastal towns as well as New Brunswick, Canada.
Just spent the weekend in cabin #1 and loved, loved, loved it!! The screened in porch overlooking the river was probably the best part and where we hung out the most. It was super hot when we arrived but all the windows had been opened before we arrived which we really appreciated, but even with the heat the porch was perfect. Had a fire in the fireplace Saturday night - how could you not - and it was just lovely. It really did look like the pictures which is always a pleasant surprise. Everything was very comfortable and clean and had everything you needed, another pleasant surprise! Went kayaking and swimming, really appreciated having the use of the kayak and canoes. You could really tell that cabin had been used and loved! Thanks so much, we'll be back!!

All cabins and houses are equipped with full kitchen, free WiFi, grill, fire pit and much more. The property also boasts a large pond - perfect for paddling or fishing and an outdoor heated pool in the summer months.
Our last minute getaway turned out to be a first of many more to come at Sterling Ridge. We went for the hiking and loved Smugglers Notch and Stowe but were surprised how much more we loved our cabin! From the friendly and easy check in to the spotless comfortable cabin Sterling Ridge went above and beyond to give us a fun memorable experience. Nearby shopping and restaurants and brewpubs, a fabulous rail trail, gorgeous scenery and walks, kayaking and the creemees! We relaxed by our fire pit every evening and adored the big front deck listening to the babbling brook. I have my sister to thank for recommending Sterling Ridge cabins, you don’t have to thank me just go! You won’t be disappointed.
