The place could be very nice, at least that's what the photos showed, but it doesn't have maintenance, but worst of all, it doesn't have customer service, they don't have a sense of excellence in attention because at the first complaint they should have compensated shortcomings, but they did not do it, neither did the second complaint, by the third we lost patience. They did not answer my repeated emails and WhatsApp messages asking if the reservation was firm, and I had my heart in my throat until I arrived in Iguazú because they didn't answer. Upon entering there was no light in a room and they gave me the bulb so that I could change it myself! There was no floor cloth, there was no dishtowel, the detergent was diluted, maintenance left much to be desired with lots of broken things, towels and sheets were frayed and stained of how old they are, there were no lounge chairs in the pool. I paid 100 euros for two nights and it doesn't even have breakfast, with what they charge I could've stayed in a 4 or even 5 star hotel. I do not recommend them, keep on looking because your place is not here. I work in tourism and I regret that tourists are mistreated like this. They deserve a complaint at Consumer Protection for misleading advertising.

It is probably not the best option in Puerto Iguazu, but because of our originally booked hotel canceled our booking with no reason given on a short notice, we were happy to find this place as a replacement. Cabanas are clean enough and have relatively comfortable beds, breakfast is limited in variety but a good quality, and the pool looked well mantained but we did not use it because of we spent our days outside and evening were not warm at all. Bear in mind cabanas are situated some 800 metres from central restaurants, but big supermarket is nearby with everything you need. To get to the falls, you either can to take a cab which was about 7 dollars one way or you can take a bus to the centre and change there for the falls. Cabanas are not at the main road, but there is some kind of truck garage nearby, so I think it will not be a pleasant spot to rest around the pool in summer because of the traffic during the day will probably be awful

They charged me for a fee that was never disclosed at booking and of course it wasn’t in my voucher. To do the check in they asked for everyone’s passports I thought they wanted to check ID’s but not only that they took photocopies of every single page of the passport even for kids they argued that this was a requirement from Expedia.com to check immigration status! Room was dirty, cockroaches and even a scorpion in the bathroom. Pool was dirty plus a frog that nobody came to took out of the pool. The other pool the floor and walls were green and even cables came out of a whole were you can see there was a light before. Personnel doesn’t help at all plus the manager was rude and disrespectful at the check in. There is a long walk to your room that has no lights. Be ready to lift your luggage because there is no path to your room the floor is rocks and grass. Rooms have no phone to communicate with front desk. This place has no maintenance at all. Restaurant is clean but doesn’t have too much food choices. Don’t recommend it at all.

Turist complex located in the city of Puerto Iguazú, 20 blocks away from the center and 18 minutes away from Iguazú Falls' National Park.
Amazing stay with Eduardo and family! When we arrived late at night and Eduardo and his sons (who speak great English) were there to greet us and make sure we knew everything we needed to know for our stay. They helped us get situated, order pizza to be delivered to the room (since we got in late), and made sure we had everything we needed. The space was great for my husband and I and we were very comfortable there. Great AC and amenities! We also loved having our own cabana all to ourselves. You are not right in Puerto Iguazu (about a 5-10 minute drive), but it is so nice to have such tranquility and really be able to experience Iguazu that way and you will not have to worry about driving anywhere (see the comments below). What made the experience so great was how genuinely kind Eduardo, Adriana, and their sons were. What made it even more incredible, was Luis. Eduardo arranged our transportation with Luis, a friend of theirs, and was there waiting for us at the airport. For a set price, Luis picked us from the airport, drove us to and from the national park, to dinner, to the Brazilian side, and then back to the airport for a very reasonable price. It was so amazing to have someone so reliable and caring with us. He made sure that we were in good hands everywhere we went and was so prompt, reliable, and amazing to be with on our trip. Long story short, these are good people with good friends; and they really care that you have a positive experience. We will be referring all of our friends to the Terra Lodge! Muchisimas Gracias! -Jenna & Matt

El Descanso Iguazú by DOT Cabana is a family business located in the Quintas area of the city of Puerto Iguazú, just 18 km from our exceptional tourist destination, the Iguazú Falls. We have 4 comfortable bungalow with a master bedroom, an additional room, a living room with a kitchen and a private bathroom. Fully equipped with refrigerator, kitchen with oven, complete crockery, microwave, double bed, cable TV, Wi-Fi in common areas and bed and bathroom linens. From El Descanso Iguazú by DOT Cabana we seek to offer our guests the option of staying in an accommodation in accordance with the jungle environment and the red earth of our Misiones province, prioritizing the guest's idea of reproducing their daily life habits and at the same time creating conditions to satisfy the expectation of recreation, recreation and rest. We invite you to enjoy our place, experience a pleasant environment of harmony and well-being, take walks in the environment, visits to businesses in the neighborhood and get to know a small town with character.
Comfort - the Cabana we stayed in was extremely clean and comfortable with a powerful and hot shower. The kitchen had sufficient appliances for us to cook two evening meals. There is a double bed in one room, and bunk beds in another. Hospitality - Marcelo (owner) was extremely helpful and friendly - arranging a taxi to collect us from the airport in advance and offering advice on how to get the most out of our stay. He spoke good English and was very welcoming. He lives on site and so was able to address any questions or small problems immediately. Breakfast - was simple with coffee, juice, croissants and bread rolls with a selection of preserves. It served its purpose and was very reasonably priced. Location - possibly the only negative (the price you pay for tranquility!). It is a good 30min walk to Iguazu town/nearest supermarket, and an hour's walk to the 3 Points marker. The local buses were a nightmare to navigate (we gave up) but there are plenty of taxis around to get you about. You can get a bus to the Argentine side of the waterfalls but we found a taxi was similarly priced and much more convenient. Marcelo was happy to arrange us a taxi to the Brazilian side the following day (30minute drive via the border checks). For the price we paid I was very impressed with the comfort of our stay. Be prepared to pay for a few taxis to/from town but otherwise I can't fault the experience.

Panambi is born from the mythical transformation of a green space with extreme respect for nature, surrounded by pure native vegetation, the whistle of the more than 100 species of birds that inhabit it and the beautiful panoramic view that our windows offer to the Paraná River. Our buildings are made of wood, combined with reeds and updated nuances of modern design. All overlooking the river and with its own balcony where you can expand your senses without any limit. We have a common space where our guests can share from a delicious tea, an unforgettable chat or a good barbecue. A small stone path leads to the banks of the Paraná River through bamboo plants and delicate plane trees typical of the area.
We were 3 people staying here for 3 nights and the place is superb. Clean, fantastic service, the most amazing view from the rooms and an unforgettable breakfast! It is hidden a little outside the city in the middle of the jungle by the river separating Argentina from Paraguay, which is perfect as not a lot happens in the city. We spent most nights at the balcony overlooking the river or by the river, which is accessible from the hostel following the sounds of a small waterfall. The cabins are clean, big, have a nice bathroom and almost all of them are with a great view. The pictures are from our balcony :) We truly enjoyed our stay!
