We had a very nice time at this beautiful yurt camp. The yurts were super cozy. The owner is super helpful and caring, we had very good talks with her since she speaks english fluently. We went on a horse ride over the pass to the chatyr lake where whe spend one night in another yurt, which was defenitely the highlight of our kyrgyzstan tour. We would be happy to come back!

It is the best place you can find on the south side of the Issyk kul. We rented a tent, the weather was perfect for it. Food is vegetarian, and it was delicious. Atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, getting away from the busy cities. People and pets living there make this place even more enjoyable. Thank you Hippohae!

High up on a plateau about one hour east of Bokonbaevo on the south side of Issyk Kyl Lake is this yurt camp. It is definitely out of the way and up in the mountains. Besides offering a genuine experience of Kyrgyz culture, there is horseback riding. There is a cost to ride the horses. The food was great! It is definitely up in altitude, so you will need to adjust to both the air and the cooler temperature. There was also a falconer who displayed his falcon while we were here. They are able to accommodate multiple groups at the same time if they are small, but make a reservation. If you are not brave enough to ride the horses, you can also still walk quite a distance on the plateau. You can get another great view of Issyk Kyl Lake. Worth spending at least 3 hours here if you are not staying over night.

We do not promise to stay in an "asterisk" hotel, where everything is included, instead we offer accommodation in eco-friendly "houses without corners" - yurts - on the coast of a high mountain lake with a full board and a lot of unforgettable positive impressions and discoveries. For lovers of comfortable living - rooms with showers and verandas.
Very expensive service. In the yurt is very cold and there is smell. When we came bed linen was dirty untill we asked to change that. The food they call vegetarian they just remove meet from it and tell that is vegetarian food. Beach is closed at 10 p.m. So if you want to swim after you just can not Felt ouselves as prisoners the only cool thing is great view for issik kul lake but staff do not allow to enjoy that fully

It,s located in one of the most beautiful places in Kyrgyzstan. Otherwise, the yurt camp has some problems. First of all, the staff is only one woman, so it's not enough to cook, clean, burn the heaters, etc. She is nice, but that's the reason for very dirty toilets, full bins, food served in dirty dishes on tables full of remnants of the previous guests... But nevertheless is the most expensive CBT's yurt camp all over Kyrgyzstan.

Bel Tam is a beautiful yurt camp and is an excellent place to experience the gorgeous scenery of Kyrgyzstan. The staff are professional and speak English which is helpful for those of us that don't speak Russian or Kyrgyz. They have nice clean showers with hot water and flush toilets! A bonus for sure! The Yurts are clean, cozy, and comfortable. If you go to be early or need a good night's sleep you might want to request a yurt a bit further away from the "center" of the camp and guests like to congregate around the camp fire and talk loudly till quite late. The main Yurt (dining Yurt) is so beautiful and the food was amazing. Thank you Bel Tam!
