We stayed at the campsite with our own tent. When we arrived the woman who welcomed us had no time for us, she was always on the phone. We asked where we could pitch our tent and she just pointed out here finger while she was still on the phone. There is a bar and we liked to drink something but there was nothing, only coke. Showers on a donkey in open air are good and toilets also open air.

WHERE LUXURY IS UNTAMED The unspoiled natural setting of Ondundu Etosha Lodge is the perfect place to stop over for several days while exploring the wilds of western Etosha as well as the unique north-western part of Namibia. Ondundu Etosha Lodge forms part of 6,600 hectares of privately owned land and the non-perennial Huab River winds its way through the property.
Very welcoming & warm hospitality, with friendly staff catering for your every need. Excellent cuisine and comfortable accommodation. Beautifully maintained and overall a highly recommendable establishment. Compliments to Johan and his capable team! Kind regards, Kurt & Kate with Kai; Claus & Heidi Düvel xxx

Uukwaluudhi Safari Lodge is a Private Game Reserve situated in the north west of Namibia. It has 13 luxury twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms and small balcony to relax. The 6500 h estate is home for Springbuck, Giraffe, Zebra, Oryx, Black face Impala, Eland, Hyena and Rhino.
We had our travel plans interupted during our tour in Namibia and the booking agent made a reservation at Uukwaluudhi Lodge. It is a terrible shame as this could be a real gem if a bit of TLC is introduced to the campsite. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, thank you for that touch. The road to the lodge is dreadful!!!!

Hidden among large grey granite boulders and mopani trees, Hoada (pronounce Waada) Campsite offers travellers a serene home in the wilderness. The area, which is home to a variety of animals, offers spectacular views and a number of hiking trails and 4×4 tracks to explore. This sensational landscape is home to Namibia’s uniquely adapted desert elephant, with its longer legs and smaller tusks, which are frequent visitors to the area. These and a number of larger plains game, reptiles and invertebrates are abundant on the Grootberg Plateau and river valleys that carve deep furrows into the landscape, waiting to be discovered by those passing through. All six luxury camp sites can easily accommodate eight persons, with ample designated areas for four tents or vehicles with roof-top tents. The Group campsite can take up to 14 guests and have male & female ablution facilities.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Warm water and beautiful private camping sites set between big rocky outcrops. Loved the atmosphere. Seperate kitchen area, shower and seperate toilet made for welcome privacy.

The Etosha Trading Post Campsite is ideally situated only 6.5 km from the Okaukuejo entrance to Etosha National Park, and caters for Individual travelers (8 campsites with private bathroom facilities) and Groups of friends or family traveling in convoy (4 well equipped spacious campsites). Take a refreshing dip in the camp pool or visit our nearby Etosha Trading Post shop.
The Trading Post's camping site are excellent. We loved to have our own bathroom and outdoor kitchen. The staff was very friendly and you can buy al your groceries there. The swimmingpool was a winner. We could relax next to the fire with no disturbance. Will recommend this.

It is located in the Northern parts of the country and has a total population of approximately 7 000 residents. The name Outjo means “small hills” and is derived from the surrounding topography. This town is well-known because it serves as the gateway to the Etosha National Park. The town was founded in 1897 by Germans and initially served as their military base. Outjo is located near the Gamkarab Caves known for its many formations, but the caves are unfortunately not open to the public. Outjo can be used as a base when exploring places like the Etosha Wildlife Park, the Skeleton Coast, Koakoveld and Damaraland in the North of Namibia. Outjo is less than an hour's drive (only 94km Southwest) from the popular tourist attraction, the Etosha Wildlife Park in Northern Namibia. -Outjo Attractions- The town museum in Outjo has displays of local history and a variety of animal horns, skins and bones, minerals and gemstones. The museum is also home to an exciting Craft Shop that teaches local woman the art of fabric painting and other skills. Gamkarab cave is 50km North-East of Outjo. There are a few stalagmites and stalactites and an underground lake. Travelling westwards en-route to Khorixas and 95 km West of Outjo, is the Ugab Vingerklip (finger of rock) situated amongst the rugged Ugab Terraces. If you stay on the tarred road, you will miss this. About 35 m high, this distinctive monolith has been moulded into its unique shape by erosion. Rock paintings - 95 km West of Outjo. Can be viewed at Omburo Ost, a neighbouring farm to the Rockfinger site. Etosha National Park - 94km north of Outjo it is one of Southern Africa's most beautiful and most important Game Reserves. The Petrified forest - 140km West of Outjo. The turn-off to the site of the Petrified Forest is 42 kilometres west from Khorixas on the C39 road. The site was declared a national monument in 1950. It is now strictly prohibited to remove or damage even small pieces of petrified wood after it suffered damaging attacks of souvenir hunters. The trees are about 250 million years old and were deposited in the area by the flood which came down from areas further north, suggested by the fact that trunks do not have any branches or roots.
Kifaru Lodge is a hidden gem. A beautiful destination, every room has an amazing view and the attention to detail is impeccable. We loved our stay and the staff was so attentive, it made us feel extra special. Thanks Kifaru!

Rooms not cleaned. Dogs covered in ticks and fleas. Dog poo inside reception area. Taps and sink grimy. Last customers waste in bins and Toilet! Dogs vomiting in pool and sitting on cushions with fleas meant for guests. Not made welcome by owners. We felt we were intruding in their space. Staff left for 4 hours so struggled to get service, drinks etc. Not allowed appliances in room or phone charging. 6 Dogs had free reign so gardens and paths covered in poo. Told Staff of issues and she said I don't like dogs! Evening meal served outside in dark with the dogs. Requested light but had to abandon after she crawled under table to spray the flea spray whilst we ate.

We are a guestfarm, 8km south of Anderson gate to Etosha. We are not a 1-5 star establishment. Our setting is informal, but warm, neat, clean and affordable and we offer home-cooked meals and friendly service. We take pride in what we offer and promise a warm welcome and personal contact with us, the owners, and our family and pets!
Excellent!!! Campsites very neat. Friendly staff. Steak braai by Adri was out of this world! I would recommend this lodge to anyone. The lawns are fantastic and campsites spaced out well. Safe place to stay, we did not lock up anything!
