Jutland's south offers a slew of seafaring towns. Don't miss charming Ribe, home to flotillas of nesting storks. Fjords, dunes and islands await on its fringes, while moors and marshes stretch across its interior. The south is an idyllic spot for cycling. Rolling hills, heath and heather feature in central Jutland. Endless white sand beaches line the coasts. To the north, the windy North Sea coast is home to beech forests, lovely beaches and beautiful light and is loved by surfers and artists.

Surrounded by beautiful nature, Jelling Camping is located in the old historical viking town, Jelling, with some of Denmark's biggest attractions less than 20 minutes away from the camping area. Jelling Camping has great facilities for the whole family, including swimming pool, restaurant and playgrounds, where the kids can have fun while the grown ups relax and enjoy the cosy surroundings. To those who want the camping experience while still enjoying luxury, we have a selection of cabins, luxury cabins and mobile homes for rent.
This is one of the nicest campings I've ever been to! This camping was the first and last stop on my tour through Denmark/Sweden and I will most definitely come back again. This camping has the most ideal location in the beautiful town of Jelling. The owners are some of the most amazing and friendly people you'll ever meet and gave me some great tips on some sightseeing locations. Are you travelling and looking for some cool things to see? Dont hesitate asking them, they are so nice and have great tips! The camping itself is amazing as well. It really is a family camping with big bathrooms (easy access and easy when handeling kids), which are always clean. The kitchen is equipped with 4 stoves (induction) and 2 ovens which you can use without costs. Outside of the bathrooms/kitchen there is a big playground with adjecent mini golf course. For the fire starters among us, there is a nice fire place which is amazing for campfires and roasting marshmallows. There is a very nice swimming pool as well, which is free to use and has 3 different diving boards and a slide. There even is a small finnish sauna!Fresh bread is baked every morning and the restaurant is also quite nice! The camping is located in Jelling, an amazing village with a rich history. The town of Jelling is about 800 metres from the camping and has a supermarket, museum (free access) and a beautiful little church with 2 huge rune stones. It certainly is worth visiting. An amazing thank you to Peter for the stay on the amazing camping and the kindness with which I was welcomed. I had an amazing time.

Omme Å Camping is centrally situated in the heart of Jutland close to two of Denmark's greatest tourist attractions: Legoland and Givskud Zoo. On top of this, it's approximately a one-hour drive from the coast. Several of Jutland's biggest cities can be reached by car in less than an hour. All our cabins have been renovated in 2015. New 2016: You can now order a breakfast box. There are freshly baked bread, butter, cheese, meat, coffee / tea, juice and jam. Book on arrival. Box wil be delivered to your cabin/carvan/tent. The box costs 149 , - kr. for 4 people. Always free ice cream for children on arrivalday:) Free shower - free WIFI:) Always plenty of free activities for children & adults:)
We rented three small cabins for our visit at Legoland. Excellent place within a close driving distance to Billund. Super friendly owners. Clean facilities in a calm area. The site had a small playing area which our children loved so we didn't have to entertain them in any way.

It was great place to stop when coming with ferry from Norway. I booked online and even coming after closing time I could come in and pay in the morning. Nice sea view and clean facilities. Good price in off season. Not crowded in end of September.

We've stayed here a few times as it's very convenient for reaching the morning ferry to Oslo. Even in June and July there seems to be only a handful of people with tents, and so there is plenty of space. Most of the guests are in caravans and motor homes. This is a good kid-friendly campsite, with films and activities in the evenings, several playgrounds, pedalcars for rent and a small indoor pool. The beach is clean and nice but always quite breezy when we've been there. There is a small shop at the campsite, but a supermarket about 1km away. There is a funland kids thing just across the road, which has been a very welcome diversion for us when it rains.

This is by far the most cozy camping I know. My family and I have used it for several years, and the conclution is: we want to come back again! It is so great for families. Large areas for the kids to play, short distance to the fantastic beach, a mini zoo, etc. And then you have the little town Løkken just a few kilometers away, with great shopping and restaurants. Lønstrup is also just a few kilometers away, and a very charming little town. But I have to brag about Helle and Leif, the owners. Super friendly and welcoming. Never a problem, only solutions. And the fun thing is that they recognize us every year. :) Can really recommend this camping. The cottages are great! Vibs

We've stayed in one of the small 2 person cottages for a weekend. It is a nice and cosy campsite with everything you need. It is closed to the town center which can be reached by following the path by the lake (only 1,2 km) There is also a bus stop just a few meter from the entrance. You can take the bus to Silkeborg town center or take a xbus to Aarhus from just outside the campsite. Would be happy to return.

We stayed here for only one night, while waiting for the ferry. We arrived quite late but staff was still present. Camping seemed very large with lots of activities to do. Showers where good. Quite expensive, maybe because it's the closest to the ferry.

We stayed 2 nights in the cabin nro 21 and hated every moment of it: 1. The smell of the cabins is outrageous and they are filthy! We ended up putting our tent up for the second night since we just could not sleep inside. 2. The customer service is non existent. After spending one smelly night in the cabin all our linen smelled awful. Since we still needed yo camp for another week I asked the reception if they would help us by giving some coins to the laundry machine. The older gentleman said: ”oh we never do that to our customers” I said: ”so you are saying you don’t help your customers after they have had an awful experience and by that you could ease their mind” and he replied ”no we dont”. So you have been warned: they dont help their customers. I actually feel sorry for the guy and his mindset. The coins for the laundry costed me about 50 krons. If he would have given me that I would have been happy and not come and write here. This statement stays in Tripadvisor permanently. So for the fellow travellers I advise: Stay away from here.

We were glad to choose this camping as it has a wonderful playground for kids and a vast space to camp without much noise. There are very nice cycling paths right from there - either to nearby beach of the Northern Sea or about 11 km to Skagen which we truly loved! And Raabjerg Mile "desert" is only about 3 km far from the camping, again conveniently accessible by bike through beautiful woods.
