A boutique resort for only a few who would love to escape away from busy metropolitan life, to enjoy the tranquility in the wilderness of tropical green forest in most primitive manner by living in a mud hut of South-East Asian village or a tent of Bedouins, without compromising in latest modern facilities.
I stayed in this resort in Pobitora then in Diphlu lodge in Kaziranga and oh my god it’s unbelievable how Zizina did great for six (yes, SIX!!!) times less expensive than Diphlu. Bathrooms in the room and common areas were better maintained in Zizina than in Diphlu, the AC of the room worked better, food was simple yet delicious, staff was speaking little English yet doing their absolute best to give you the best experience, elephant safaris were more than half cheaper here the. Kaziranga yet almost double the time (a good hour versus 35 minutes) so really a gem as compared to the rip off of Diphlu!

Located in the Idyllic forest village of Nameri Tiger Reserve.Birding ,Rafting and trekking in the core area of the tiger reserve.
Had visited the Eco camp after 8 years and was highly disappointed. It is in a dilapidated condition. They charge you Rs 3000 for a night breakfast included. If you ask me the tent is not worth Rs 300/ night.Toilets are broken, stained and dirty.Totally unuseable.Showers are not in working condition.Toilet pipes are block and it overflows.Dirty linen.Very ill maintained tents.Food can be rated average.Hospitality good but understaffed.

Camp Nikori is a eco-campsite near Kaziranga National Park and just next to the confluence of River Brahmaputra and Dhansiri. It has Northeast India's first permanent para-motoring facility and can accommodate 40 pax per night at it's premises. We have 3 types of accommodation for the guest and they are Alpine tents, four person tents and a tree house.
Nikori camp offers a variety of activities there. They have a wonderful ambience for nature and adventure lovers. Do visit the camp for a different experience of Kaziranga. The food provided is excellent and the service is superb.

We booked for 2 nights here during our recent Arunachal trip and stayed in Room No 1. The location is good but due to the the current work going on in the area, the placed is totally over shadowed by the sand piles. So walking around is a bit difficult. The hosts are nice people. However, the price you pay are very high compared to the inputs you receive. Food is good and so also the staff members. The rooms are of decent size to accommodate 3 persons (3 beds are placed in the room and guests are charged on person basis). But the rooms are not really attractive to spend time inside unless you are glued to the phone...you can sit outside though...Our day trip to nearby waterbody (moti bill) was okay but not many varieties of birds (this is nothing compared to Mangalajodi in Odisha or Bhigwan in Pune) can be seen. The boat ride was okay. The morning drive to see the Hillock Gibbons (domesticated almost) and the hornbills (two are almost domesticated) was somewhat okay. However, the charges at 10K was very high for this two activities. It is just okay place. You may like to explore other accommodations nearby (like Padmini resort, etc. or tea garden bungalows).

Cottages: These cottages are for 2 people. These tribal styled houses known as Chang Ghar in local language are representative of the tribe’s way of life. Tents: These are for 4 people. These are for people who want to enjoy the forests like the good old days. These are extra-large canvas tents with thatch roof and cemented floors. Alpine Tent: Small Camping tents for single or double occupancy.
It was an amazing stay in Lalimou yesterday. Both William and Badal took care of everything very efficiently and in well organized way, inspite of heavy workload. Thanks again for outstanding hospitality. I shall recommend river rafting too which is indeed an awesome experience. Good for those who are looking for break and want to get lost in nature...Highly Recommended

Kohuwa Eco Camp by the Maguri Beel at Tinsukia town of Assam, felt right within the lap of mother nature. Maguri Beel being a wetland attracts a lot of migratory birds for which it’s famous amongst bird photographer and bird watchers. Being located just outside the Dibru-Saikhowa National Park and Biosphere Reserve it’s a gateway to the famous National Park. Well, I can profoundly insist you that, not only bird lovers or bird watchers but if you are a nature lover, you just can’t go wrong with this place. The Eco Camp is truely an eco-camp in nature. The basic wooden eco-cottages amidst the nature and rich aquatic life became love at first sight for us. The property is huge and very well maintained. The rooms and washrooms are spacious and clean. Being an eco-camp it can give a challenge to most profound hotels anyday in terms of service. The main reason behind this is the owner Palash Da. A very soft-spoken, friendly, warm and welcoming person. He being an avid bird-watcher himself, will be your friend and guide throughout your stay for spotting some rare species at the wetland and dryland across Maguri Beel. He goes beyond the specific schedule and out of the box to please the guests. The food here deserves a mention and 5* ratings. It’s simply delicious and finger-licking.

The Kawasing Eco Camp provides the perfect platform for the adventurous camper to explore all the wonderful unexplored places of nature. Enjoy the thrills of jeep safari, bird watching and the thrill of trekking in the jungles, trekking to the waterfalls, and feeling Nirvana at the Ashram.
This trip was totally awesome. You see pure nature, lots of animals and some fantastic views. The guides are very intelligent and they have a huge knowledge about each plant and animal you see. The highlight of the tour is the trekking trip to the waterfall. Awesome ethnic food and culture.

We stayed overnight at this eco camp in Tai Phakey village on our way back from Miao, Arunachal Pradesh. This eco-camp is known for promoting eco-tourism and they conduct several tours to the rainforests around Dibrugarh as well. There are only four or five rooms here, and they are very basic but very clean and well-maintained. The manager of the camp is very helpful. He asked the cook to prepare traditional Assamese dinner and lunch for us, and even organised a tour of the Tai Phakey village. This camp is 1.5 hours from Dibrugarh Airport and a perfect stopover if one is driving back from Namdapha National Park.
