Lake Shkodra Resort is an Albanian and English owned holiday resort with camp site and accommodation, situated directly on the beautiful Lake Shkodra. We are 7km from Shkoder city center, 24km from Montenegro and on-route to the popular destinations of Vermosh and Thethi in the Albanian Alps. The grounds are 22,000 square meters in size and include a private sandy beach with direct access into the lake and a beach front restaurant and bar. Free on-site facilities for guests include; Wi-Fi, sun beds & umbrellas, children's play area, table tennis, darts and drinking water. Canoe and mountain bike hire are available. We have an on-site shop with all the essentials. Trips and overnight stays available to Thethi, Valbona, Lake Koman and Shkoder.
Beautiful place, very nice stuff. Unfortunately first night we spent on the outside field because of lack of space inside. Next night we got beautiful shaded pitch. Nice please to stay for few calm nights. During the day you can hide from sun under the vine.

We visited as a group of five persons - three adults and two children. The resort was easy to find, with a very clear sign on the paved part of the road from Koplik to Theth. The staff at the hotel was excellent - all very friendly and professional. Even the dogs hanging out in the campground were extraordinarily friendly. The grounds were spacious and had plenty of room for children to play. The rooms were simple, but clean. They also were quite inexpensive - for the price, it is hard to imagine anything better. The bathrooms were functional, with sufficient hot water and an excellent shower. I would have liked an actual toilet seat, but otherwise all basic needs were met. I would recommend, nonetheless, that all glass have some kind of curtains. While the glass in the door certainly allowed for sufficient privacy, my room was not very dark at night due to the various lights outside. Our sleep also was interrupted by some very drunk fellow guests "singing" around a campfire until about 3 a.m. These, however, would be difficult for the staff to manage. Food in the restaurant was basic but good by the standards of the area. The meat and vegetables were all very fresh. I should mention that there are spectacular views of the Albanian mountains from various parts of the resort, especially from the main building's upper floors. For the excellent staff, magnificent views and very reasonable prices, I would recommend staying at this resort.

Excellent welcome by the campsite owner! All facilities are modern, very clean and hygienic, and have a nice personal touch. The family who manages the camping is paying attention to all details and makes sure you have all information at hand all the time so that you can make the most of your stay in Berat area: hiking, canyoning, rafting, biking, culture trip. It is perfect for families with kids, groups or solo travelers. They have possibility to park caravans, a cozy tent area and rooms to let.

Vasili the good soul of the camp is always friendly and fulfilling every wish. He even organised a mechanic to repair our car. We love this place especially for the good vibes that the owner family is spreading! :) You can even enjoy this place on hot days in the shade offered by very old and huge olive trees. This is our favorite camping site in Albania and whenever we return we will come back here.

Friendly family campground located in Ksamil, Albania - one of Europe's best kept secrets. With spectacular nearby beaches offering a variety of attractions and things to see. We offer pitches for tents and caravans/motor homes. Facilities include toilets, showers (with hot water), barbecue, Wi-Fi, running water for caravans, fruit garden, doctor.
Excellent camp, clean toilets, clear layout of toilets and showers, as well as marked fountains with hot water. Washing machines and kitchenette access are available. The surface in the camp is small stone and the owner will offer each guest a carpet for the tent (reminiscent of artificial grass). The space provided for camping offers a table and a metal bench, which is very practical. Upon arrival, we received a "welcome plate" from Linda, the owner of the camp, which was extremely pleasant for us (fruit, sweets and iced tea). At night, the camp is quiet because there is no noise from Ksamil cafes and restaurants, as well as traffic noise. The owner of the camp is a very discreet person and every guest knows that he is at his service for information or any help. The beach is a few hundred meters away, as well as a promenade along the coast of the village. It is especially important that the beaches closest to the camp are quiet, clean and there is no usual loud music. Tourists can rent deck chairs and parasols or bring their own.Next to the beach there are restaurants with great food and cafes with refreshments. The supermarket is located on the main road which is very close and is well supplied. Swings and seesaws are available for small children. The owners of the camp speak English perfectly and are very cordial.

We chose camping Kranea without any knowing about it. It is a small camp with the most friendly stuff. The camp has its own taverna and it is one of the best in Albania with super friendly prices and tasty food. I have never seen more cleaner toilets and showers. The beach is 20m from the camp, there is market 20m from the camp, the city Himare is just few kilometers away. I totally recommend this campsite and next year I will be back for sure. Best camp in the whole coast of Albania.

Himara Camping is situated above Livadh Beach (25m high), next to Himara, the heart of Albanian Riviera. It is just 5min drive from the center of the city where post office, banks and bus station are situated. It is only 15min drive to Ali Pashas fortress, in Porto Palermo and 20min walking distance from Himaras castle, that you can also see from the camping. Our facilities include toilets, showers, 24/7 water and electricity. Tents are available to rent (or you can bring your own). We also have a small restaurant with fresh local food cooked in the typical Albanian way and a bar with lots and lots of raki! Himara Camping is embedded into olive groove surrounded by a white stone fence. Every of our 100 pitches has it‘s own tree. The campsite covers an area of 10,000m^2 for tents, campers, bikers and caravans. We offer magical scenery, excellent local hospitality and competitive prices in order to give you an unforgettable holiday. Due to the climate, Himara Camping operates only during the summer season (May-September). Himara is a central town on the Southern Albanian coast, and can be used as the base point for a range of remarkable excursions. From here, you can visit the famous castle of Himara, Spile Cave, the famous Byzantine church of Himara, or the castle of Porto Palermo. Along the coast, you can also explore the small villages and gorgeous beaches surrounding Himara, from Palasa to Qeparo. We offer excursions and tours to a variety of places every few days.
This year we realized, Himara camping has moved and is now located at Livadh beach! The big, quiet and beautyful camping lies in an terrassed olive grove with a great view over the bay. The beach is just 300 meters away, a 7 minute walk. Clean showers and toilets, hot water, wifi and most important very laid back atmosphere with a shady bar to chill, meet, relax :) Denis who runs the place is very happy to help with anything and give tips on beautyful spots around. Everybody welcome here! My family with two kids enjoyed a lot.

Great surpise when we came across this campsite on a motorcycle trip. After Sat nav lead us through some small old roads and towns we were delighted his hidden gem. Camp site was basic, facilities were good, showers and toliets were clean. Fabulous bar and restaurant over a wooden bridge. Views were outstanding. Would have loved to stay longer. Small hike up to old war bunker was very interesting. Camp site is trying to perserve mountin site by staying nateral and any money spent goes towards the conservation of the land. €17 a night for a motorcyle, tent and 2 people was great value.

Situated right on the beach of crystalline lake, Erlin Beach Camping offers a lounge bar with a wide offer of long drinks, a restaurant and a well equipped beach for your relaxation on the lake side.
Poor dog !! Attached with a short heavy chain, alone in a corner, barking and barking all the night , so you cannot sleep. And they dare to ask you 3 euros per night for your dog (which I refuse to pay) In addition, staff is rude and do not speak english, toilets are insufficient and not clean, both restaurants were closed for evening and you have to pay 500 lek if you want a beach chair at....5.00 pm !! How can they manage a so lovely place on the lake ???

The Summer camping Curraj i Eperm is a camp located in midst of the Albanian Alps, in the village of Curraj i Eperm. It can be found directly on a bank of a crystal clear mountain river, right on the main marked (red) trail that leads from Lake Koman to Theth. It serves mainly for active tourist and hikers, and also offers one room available for rent and a bar with a small shop.
For me it was the best located camp I have ever visited. With a home atmosphere, nice people, good food and great river as a bathroom. During summer there was a hot weather during day and quite cold in the night - but with my 3-season sleeping bag I was OK.
