Amazing! We ended up here after the restaurant we had planned to visit (based on reviews) didn’t have an extensive menu. There are about 5 bars along the sea front here and we were too early for dinner service, which was 7:30/8 ish (as we skipped lunch) however the owner of this place offered to make us some light, so we happily accepted his kind offer and wow! The freshest meal of our entire trip!! Bruschetta with tomato, mozzarella, garlic, basil & rocket. Beautiful!! We ended a few hours here as the lemoncello spritz & aperol spritz he was making was spot on, the view was amazing and the restaurant was filling up which is always a good sign! The main course was also lovely, gnocchi with tomato & mozzarella (I’ve eaten a lot of this, this holiday!) and a mussel & tomato spaghetti (without shells which my friend appreciated as everywhere else she has been fighting crustaceans!)Overall a beautiful view, lovely food & fantastic service!

Fresh food, very well prepared. They have a whole page of the menu devoted to Scamortza alla Brace, grilled, local cheese with a huge variety of toppings. Think pizza without the crust. The mixed grill plate was incredible - the best grilled chicken breast ever. Ambiance was casual and friendly. Nice views from the terrace. The staff was great - attentive and friendly. The place is a bit removed - a taxi suggested.Grazie per la vostra ottima recensione

Was pleasantly surprised as there are limited choices to eat in the thermal park, but this place was possibly the best meal we had whilst in Ischia. Couldn't choose from the menu, and all choices we made were good, but particularly the aubergine orange salad, absolutely recommended! The homemade desserts looked amazing, but we were far too full to try one, but I wish we had. The staff were all friendly, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Apparently it also possible to eat here in the evenings even when not visiting the thermal park (as it is located inside the park itself). The atmosphere and setting is very nice and relaxed.

The best bruschetta I ever had! Service was phenomenal. Family owned and operated. This place is a jewel. It is a hike to get up there probably 45 minutes, but is so worth-it. You have an amazing breathtaking view. You have two view points one through the restaurant and the second one next to the restaurant building. Best food, best service best view! Wear comfortable hiking shoes.

They certainly do have the terrible staples of tourist food (such as pølser, fries and the terrible spaghetti bolognese). However, they also have a solid choice of fresh fish, prepared according to the genuine tradition. Everyday they serve a different pasta dish: one day we had a home made pasta with little octopus sauce. We enjoyed gnocchi, and the classic spaghetti alle vongole. Good choice of antipasti and a few selection of fishes as main course. We really enjoyed it.

You don't go to this place for the atmosphere, you go for the best aubergine you have had in your life!! The pizzas were also delicious. The staff was super friendly and even gave us a complimentary shot of something that tasted Jaegermeister before we left. We ended up going back there during our one-week trip. You can end up paying a lot more somewhere else but you won't find any better food.

It’s a pity that we didn’t discover this place at the beginning of our stay!To be honest, I think that it has nothing to envy to the near starred restaurant! My “Pennoni ai tartufi di mare”(sea truffles) and “Cappuccio d’astice”(lobster) were absolutely superb... and the chef Marcello is such a welcoming guy!

We managed to get a table for two at relatively late notice and felt fortunate throughout. We had lovely house white wine (eur8 approx for 1/2 bottle) and three different fish dishes (fried sea bass a particular favourite)Although the entrance could put you off, it really shouldn’t once you walk downstairs and meet the team.

We quite easily found the sign for this restaurant just off the main square in Lacco Ameno and headed on up the steep hill to reach it. I didn't think the view was particularly stunning - there are better views from the seafront. Anyway, the menu was explained to us in good detail and we ordered a sharing platter to start. They were really helpful and made changes to it because my husband is allergic to tuna and squid and they made substitutions . Everything on the sharing platter was lovely. It was the 'main' course I found confusing. Theres primi platti and secondi platti and we now realise we should have ordered one of each each because I ordered tuna tartare expecting it to be a main course portion but it turned out that it wasn't. It was tuna , with quite a few very thin slices of fennel and three slices of an orange on top. Husband ordered the salt cod dish and got a tiny bowled dish with just three small cubes of white fish in it. When we'd ordered the dishes I asked about vegetables and the waiter looked slightly confused, so I ordered a plate of mixed vegetables to come with our 'mains'. This turned out to be a large plate with a single layer of courgette, aubergine and fennel that had been chargrilled. So I think our 'main' courses were actually 'starters' too. Maybe we just don't understand that its expected to order 3 savoury courses in Italy?. I had a really nice chocolate and almond cake dessert which was home made. But we felt a bit puzzled when we left, and unsatisfied. If we'd ordered three savoury dishes each and then dessert then the bill would have been very expensive.
