Excellent cafe with huge menu to suit everyone whether you just want a sandwich, main meal or snack. Great kids menu too. Friendly, welcoming and very fast service. Caters for all even if you are caked in mud from cycling / walking. Nice shop next door. Can eat inside or outside with loads of space.

I suppose this is a review of the cafe as you could wander around the mill but only downstairs was open and we found it difficult to see what was going on and how it would have all worked as a mill. There is plenty of parking. It's a lovely setting and there is a shop selling flour, a gift shop and a couple of craft workers on site. We enjoyed watching the blacksmith making lantern holders. The cafe was incredibly busy and the queue was long. We ate at 11.45 am on a Saturday morning so we only had a short queue. The food is excellent but you do have quite a long wait for it. Staff manage to be pleasant even when very busy.

Quite small inside with only a few tables...dog friendly....food ok with a selection of sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and cakes...canât understand however why businesses today donât accept card payments especially in a touristy village that has no cash points ???

Bakewell's deli. Local, fresh, delicious food for everyone. At the Lambton Larder you'll find Alice and Blake, co-owners with a passion for food, the Peak District and great customer service. We want to bring fresh, local and (most of all) delicious food
Fantastic coffee and cakes and a lovey selection of deli treats. Great customer service! Best coffee in Bakewell!

Wyes Waters Tea Rooms is located in the heart of Bakewell just off Granby Road. We serve a large range of hot and cold drinks including traditional loose leaf teas and fruit teas and Pollards ground coffees served in our signature cafetieres. We have a la
The café itself is nice enough and the staff/owners are nice enough, but we weren't impressed with what appeared to be a very small bowl of tinned soup for £4.90.The choice was down to 1 flavour, the other two had sold out and the bread was also limited choice due to sold out, and it was lunch time, not late at all.Sorry but we wouldn't recommend or return.Hi Janeylaney09Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. I do need to correct you here though, we NEVER sell soup out of a tin, its all homemade and we do usually have three choices plus a choice of bread roll to go with it. I understand it was lunchtime on a Monday that you came in? Again, I do apologise but Monday is market day and our busiest day of the week and we start serving lunches much earlier than you'd expect. Our soup happens to be one of the most popular choices on a Monday therefore we can sell out quickly. As we like to keep our options as fresh as possible we never 'over make' so will sometimes run out. If you'd have made your dissatisfaction more clear at the point of payment my staff wouldn't have charged you as I never want our service and/or food to fall short of the mark. With that in mind please don't hesitate to pop in when you're next around, mention your TA name and ask for Jane and I'll refund you for the soup.RegardsJane

4 popped in for pizza and pastaWith a garlic bread be warned very strong garlic if you donât like it to strongPizzas were tasty and a big portion on pasta carbonaraWonât beat a proper Italians but good enough Be warned cash only salesSorry if the garlic bread was too strong for you, but we've used the same recipe for 15 years, and 99% of customers love it, using words in their reviews like; 'best ever' 'awesome' etc.We had a giggle at 'proper Italian', as this cafe was all based on original Italian recipes , which we purchased from the previous owners and adhered to when we bought it over 12 years ago.No, we don't take cards (yet), but are in the complicated process of getting the right deal, but meanwhile you neglected to include the fact that there are FOUR cash machines within a few minutes walk, two are less than twenty seconds away.

Relax and enjoy morning coffee with a slice of homemade cake, a freshly prepared lunch or an afternoon tea in the tranquil ambiance of Gallery Café, located inside the wonderful Rutland Arms Antiques Centre. We use the finest ingredients in all of our pro
The small and cozy 'Gallery Cafe' is tucked away in a corner of the Rutland Antiques Centre. In the cafe you will find a selection of sandwiches, toasted hot and cold, coffee and cakes. The walls have paintings on display (hence 'Gallery' Cafe) and comfortable seats and tasteful decor. Prices in my opinion are a little bit high, we paid £17.50 for two toasted sandwiches and one regular coffee, but the presentation and quality was very good.
