I had read that the Riverview Hotel was the only waterfront restaurant in Yangshuo but we found this place, right on the shore. We visited in April on a lovely evening with the plate glass windows wide open to let in the air. If we had dropped a chopstick it would have landed IN the Li River. Food was good (Fried Beef Noodles, Sweet Sour Pork) and inexpensive and service was painfully slow but the real draw is the unbelievable location. We sat for a long time watching the late afternoon sun on the river and the far bank, fishing boats and water buffaloes along the far shore, and the famous karst mtn landscape receding into the distance. Find this place at the foot of West Street, down along the shore where the cruise boats dock. There is a small market there and a park-like area overlooking the water. Up a bit farther is the Riverview Hotel.

After 9 days of eating nothing but Chinese food, all of which was very good, it made a welcome change to have a fresh pizza.The menu selection is good and the prices are low.The food we ordered was very good and all freshly prepared; you could see the toppings for the pizza being chopped in the kitchen.Furnished with comfortable cane chairs and offering free wifi, it would be a nice place to go even if you only wanted a snack and a drink.

Stopped at Moon Hill Cafe on recommendation of our tour guide. My wife ordered stir fry veggies with chicken. She received a mountain of noodles with a smattering of vegetables along with a few scant pieces of chicken. Really bad. Upon presentation of the bill we found charges for napkins and even a fee for the bowls in which the food was served. Are you kidding me? Avoid this restaurant. thank you for your review, firstly, the charges of napkins and the bowls are usual in every restaurant in China~ but now ,our restaurant can provide coustomers the free bowls.thanks again , and enjoy your time ~

We had a really good dinner here. We really enjoyed the felafel and hummus and the margaritas are amazing. We would have given it five but we didn't like the fact that the staff left the TV on so there was little atmosphere. The food was good though and the restaurant busy.

We stumbled across this place when we come off our river cruise from Guilin. The draft beer was fantastic. My favourites was Number 2. Best beer we had in China. They gave us some beautiful fresh bread while we were there.Great atmosphere. Wonderful music and best beer. Highly recommend.

We had a group of 7 well fed here for about 40 yuan each. Great food and large portions. Service was fast and they spoke good english which helped with sorting out vegetarian food for some of our group,

Over a couple of days I enjoyed the gado gado, a soup, and the Vietnamese spring rolls, washed down with mango juice. It was all great. Breakfast not outstanding, but ok.Also great massage available for a good price. The sauna is also relaxing. The menu is in English.
