Iâve heard many praises sung about this establishment so I decided to head there for breakfast with workmates to see if it lived up to the hype. Sadly, for me, it did not. All breakfast choices (and there werenât many) were sweet, sweet, sweet. I had a ricotta pancake, fruit concoction & frankly it was awful. A 7am smack in the face with sugar is not for me. Coffee was ordinary. Service slow. Lunch might be better, Iâll give it a go one day when Iâve recovered from my sugar intoxication.

Flat white, latte cappuccino all the same. They actually are all different. Maybe they just need to have a white coffee and a black coffee as that is actually what you get anyway. Sick of paying for bad coffee!
We were staying in Yamba for a few days recently and stumbled across this place after a recommendation at the local markets. What a find! The place was buzzing and the food was delicious! Very friendly for special dietary requirements - Veg, GF, LF and FODMAP, thank you! Also child friendly, with very kind a patient staff. Again, thank you! Topped off with a lovely swim at Blue Pool. What a great day!
Anyone can stop at McDonald's but if you want quality this is a great spot to get a feed.Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was done to perfection. The flavors came to life tucking in. Fresh condiments and beautiful pickles.Definitely try this place.

We are a family owned and operated cafe/ pizza bar with a great passion for fresh produce and flavours. We support local suppliers, farmers and fishermen and believe in ethical farming as well as serving fairly traded coffee (St. Ali/ Melbourne) and tea.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of choices (including options for plant based peeps). Coffee is good too. Tried their âTaco Fridayâ $5 tacos and there was a good selection with the oyster mushroom taco and the fish taco being a stand outs. Oh the charred corn dish was excellent too! Will be back next holiday.

The Block Bar Cafe on Coldstream Street is nothing fancy, but has outstanding food, great service, reasonable prices and friendly patrons. It sits below the Yamba YHA and you would expect it to be packed with young surfers and backpackers (which there were a few). But we learned on our first holiday visit a year ago that itâs a favorite pub among locals who are senior retirees in their 60âs who were former hippies and âflower childrenâ like ourselves. The easy going, pop music playing in the background is vintage 60âs and 70âs from artists such as the Eagles, America, Carol King, The Beach Boys and Seals & Croft. It brought back fond memories of some of the best days of our youth as we took our time chatting with other patrons and eating the delicious food. We HIGHLY recommend âthe Block Burger.â Itâs quite simply one of the best burgers weâve ever tasted - and weâve traveled in over 40 countries over the past 5 years, sampling a variety of burgers among numerous other types of fare. This Santa Fe âYankâ had never before experienced a cheese burger like this one. It is stacked 4â tall with complements including beetroot, a fried egg, Canadian bacon, pineapple, the usual pickles and onions, sliced tomato and a special barbecue sauce. The beef is juicy and grilled to perfection. The tasty bun is large enough to hold all of its fillings comfortably, without falling apart when you go to open your mouth (wide) to take a bite. Since I had my first one last year, Iâve sampled similar creations around Australia, but none can compare to this one. On this holiday, we also returned to the Block for breakfast and were equally satisfied. Itâs amazing how such a simple, down-to-earth establishment can produce such great food and provide such an enjoyable ambience. If we lived in town, weâd be eating here at least once/week!

This tiny cafe does great breakfast and superior coffee. The view is outstanding and it was nicely decorated for Christmas. The staff were really accommodating and the portions too big for most of us to get through. Hope to be back soon!!

Stopped for a quick coffee and enjoyed it. Staff friendly and prompt. This place is old converted house with outdoor and inside dining options. Great brekky and lunch menus available. Tried a few different coffee houses in Yamba and found this to be the best.
