Stopped on our way through for a coffee. Ended up having eggs on toast and coffee. Partner had toast with sourcream and jam. Good service, fast and well tasting. Coffee well made. Nice staff in a good setting. Protected from wind and rain even though we were sitting outside. Dog was happy as well. Easy access, parking around the corner. Would be great on a summer's day.

Very tasty food. Came a number of times including for a Birthday and Wedding Anniversary during August. Friendly staff that greet you as you arrive and say goodbye as you leave. We appreciated this personal touch which is hard to find elsewhere. Every dish on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend this cafe.

We had a wonderful dinner, service was efficient with smiles and relaxed manner. The 3 of us ordered the lamb shoulder with fries on the side. we ordered a couple of house wines which arrived promptly. When the food arrived it was presented tastefully and the fries came with a garlic aioli delicious. The whole meal was perfect the lamb, melt in your mouth and a taste sensation, absolutely wonderful. Our guest from Belguim was very impressed. Thank you Luke, chef and wait staff for making our night out perfect.I had the chicken sri lankan pizza last week and it was delicious .We will be back.

We had been meaning to drop into this new cafe since they opened and finally made this weekend. I am glad we did, we were greeted with a lovely welcoming smile and happy face we took our seats out in the covered outdoor area which allows all the sun but with the covers down stops the wind. The service was friendly, helpful and charming. The coffee was excellent and hot and the food was delicious and even though they were busy the food came out quite quickly.
We have been living on the coast for six months and we hadnât found this little gem until recently. Situated in the Hobbs Wharf Market, Yogiâs is a pub, restaurant and cafe channeling the energy of a coastal English pub but highlighting the best parts of living in NZ.We took the kids down there and the first thing you receive when you walk in the door is a smile and a welcome from the wonderful staff. The menu offers all day breakfast along with pub grub for the afternoons and evenings. This morning we ordered the Yogiâs big breakfast which was so big, my wife shared it with the two kids. I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon which was absolutely delicious. The plates were nearly clean when we were finished as the food tasted so good. The atmosphere this morning was light and easy, couples and families enjoyed their breakfast with views and even dogs are allowed to be in the seated area.Talking with the staff, we saw where the TV was and told that they would be playing the international rugby tonight when the pub opened up with special of Hot Pot Pies + Chips. We will definitely be back, so awesome to find such a nice relaxed place so close to home.I am keen to try out their quiz night on Thursday nights.Well done Yogis team, see you soon.

In this very straightforward café with a couple of sailing chaps chatting at another table, people dropping in for a coffee and an ice cream, a few tourists who had happened upon the place like me, I had the best fish and chips of my NZ stay! There is a pleasant feel to the café, very casual and friendly. Well worth a visit.

A nice location in easy walking of the beach, however there is minimal seating and several coffees I ordered were burnt. A decent selection of slices and cakes were available at reasonable prices.

Friendly local cafe offering great food and great coffee. From breakfast to brunch with menu food which is great tasting and great value to our cabinet food. All food is made on the premises.
We were recommended to this little cafe, glad we came in. Food was delicious. Their homemade hash browns are definitely a must to try. Coffee is good and staff very welcoming and friendly. Lovely surroundings, warm atmosphere. Real mix of customers from mums with their little ones to construction workers to local retired folk. Something to suit all. Definitely recommend a stop, we will be back.

The Cherry Cafe is just wonderful because the staff are really nice I went with a group of 19 and nothing was too much trouble, we had booked but we walked from the ferry because the bus didn't wait for a late ferry but the staff were helpful the Kitchen staff were amazing and everyone enjoyed the meals.I spoke to the Chef he was Vietnamese and as I speak Vietnamese it was nice but his food presentation was wonderful, the Cafe is clean and really well run, to find it in the shopping centre just follow the signs, price wise also great value.Because of a time problem I choose Fish and chips which was not just ponked on a plate bur looked so nice and it tasted nice also, this was a busy Cafe and I say try them.

Called in for coffee on a grownup weekend away. Warm greeting on arrival. Almond milk flat white hot and strong and large was a good size. Chose a couple of pastries to go with it... pan o chocolat and a berry danish. These turned up at the table well nuked in the microwave. Was not asked if we wanted them heated and certainly would have declined. Pastry now soggy. Shows a little lack of understanding of what is right for particular foods. Owners Lexus parked in pride of place outside the cafe making patrons park further away. Just needs a tweak.
