Ik heb hier twee weken gegeten, omdat ik voor m'n werk in Salzburg was, en mijn werkgever een appartement had gehuurd in Unterach. Het eten was altijd weer geweldig, ze waren er soms trots op dat ik nog een portie vroeg, doordat oik die hele dag geen tijd gehad had om te eten. Dan legde ik uit dat normaal meer dan voldoende geweest zou zijn, maar gezien de smak en trek zou ik wel meer lusten.Het was ook altijd heel gezellig in dat , de timmerman, pastoor en wie weetal niet meer kwamen een pint pakken op het einde van de dag. De dame die bediende was net een moeder. Echt een aanrader

A brilliant coffee shop with great cakes! The place was open all of Christmas Day, serving "all you can eat" food in the morning and was packed. We went twice in the afternoon for coffee and cake and then a late salad lunch. Brilliant !!

This is a pleasant cafe with a lake view. The food was good and the pricing a bit touristy, but I can understand that given the location. The service was as expected, the waitress was quite friendly. The key downside was that you have accept smokers nearby, if you wish to sit on the lakeside. But thatâs life and we could anticipate it when we saw the ashtrays on the tables.

We came for a late lunch, and the place was full of tourists. We had a vegetable wok and a house salad. Neither was very good-- the salad drowned in some unknown dressing, and the wok was mostly noodles and cooked carrots. The service was very good, and spoke good English. The cafe is located at the Gustav Klimt Center, and attracts many tourists who enjoy the beautiful views of the Attersee lake that Klimt painted so often. The accept credit cards, but there are better places for food in that area ;-)

The Bandlkramerey is a fine place owned by the Austrian Trachten family, Tostman. They managed an excellent renovation of a very old Austrian building, leaving older parts intact, even a window through the floor to see some older parts. On the upper floor original walls and flooring are intact. They serve basic but fresh Austrian food in an elegant setting, a special bonus is a view to the lake. The 2nd story is a Trachten museum with very old styles of Dirndl, a work in progress. In better weather there is an outdoor terrace where one can sit, and a very large garden, even a place for kids to play. Last but not least, though I can walk here, I appreciate the ample parking area provided, a luxury in this area!

Sehr nettes Landcafe am FuÃe des Buchbergs über den Dächern des Ortes Attersee.Sehr ursprünglich Atmosphäre. Man sitzt auf einer, mit Glycinie (Blauregen) verwachsenen Terrasse, wo sich die Eigentümerfamilie seit Jahren bemüht, der Pflanze den Panoramablick abzutrotzen. Mit Erfolg. So ist ein sehr lauschiges Platzerl mit sensationellem Panoramablick entstanden. Es gibt Kaffee und Kuchen, wobei die SüÃspeisen "wie aus Mutters Küche" von der Chefin selbst gemacht werden. Weiters finden sich noch kleine Snacks vom belegten Brot bis zum Toast auf der Karte.Warme Küche (ausser Würstel od. Chili) gibt´s nicht - ist ja auch ein Cafe. Für gehbehinderte Menschen allerdings nicht zu empfehlen, da die Terrasse nur über eine Stiege erreicht werden kann. Wir kommen wieder!

Andi Rohringer und seine Frau führen im Zentrum eine Bäckerei mit einem angeschlossenen Café-Bistro. Er erzeugt wahrscheinlich das beste Brot und Gebäck am Attersee. Ich hole mir gerne das "Atterseebrot", das aus natürlichen Zutaten besteht und auch nach mehreren Tagen noch ausgezeichnet schmeckt.Am Sonntag ist ebenfalls am Vormittag geöffnet, das nutzen viele, um frisches Gebäck, Croissants oder Plundergebäck für das Frühstück zu holen. Mittags gibt's ein Menü zu einem günstigen Preis.
