A very disappointing visit . All that was on offer for lunch were some very tired looking salads and falfalel, with no dressing on offer. Service was churlish and bored. There are far bette places to eat like calmly, at more reasonable prices.

Wednesday night is the time for the long table dinner which features local wines and food presented by the talented staff and owner of Florenceâs. Not â fine dining â but provincial food presented well with a tasting of local wines before dinner. Very good value at the price. Also breakfast is excellent as is the coffee!

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the lakefront, Beanie Cafe is a cozy haven with incredible views of Royâs Peak and Lake Wanaka. Our delicious food is made fresh. We stock a large variety of cabinet items and our classic kiwi menu will be sure t
Group of 4 went for breakfast. Order taken and 3 breakfasts delivered. The 4th didnât!After some time I told an assistant who sought a reason. I was told that the kitchen was busy and that my order was on its way. My friends finished their meals, so we again asked the question. This time we were told that the order had been âmissedâ. We were told that as an apology another pot of tea would be provided at no cost. The order eventually arrived, but the tea did not! Whilst I cannot fault the quality of the food, customer service needs improving. Must do better!!!

Progressive organic dining in the heart of Wanaka. Serving Breakfast & Dinner, Ode brings creativity and consideration into every dish. In our kitchen âgood foodâ means food that excites all the senses & food that is delicious. Voted top 100 NZ restaurant
Ode restaurant sources everything locally organically grown wherever possible. They have contracts with local farms to ensure the best quality and freshest ingredients. They are into sustainability, conservation and minimising environmental impact. There is no compromise on the quality of the dishes they serve up. Some were rather novel, but all were first class. They do not need to go far to source top quality wines, and the drinks are all from NZ.A great addition to the Wanaka restaurant scene.Thank you choosing to dine with us and we are pleased you enjoyed your Ode experience!

A place we enjoy a lot. Last evening we enjoyed a meal there that was simply delicious. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection and the duck salad entree was very good. As per usual a great meal - thanks Urban Grind.

Beautiful venue with the best views in Lake Wanaka, barista made coffee, local wine and beer on tap, top brunching location with tasty meals and sweet treats, fabulous tapas and mains served by our happy staff for dinner from 4pm everyday.
Honestly the place looked good from the outside, we were excited to go in for brunch. The girl who served us was pretty rude. Just made us feel like she didnât want us there. We both work hospo in chch so know thereâs rough days but still... cmon. The bene was pretty weak, overpriced, hardly any hollandaise sauce. Definitely wonât return and wonât be recommending to any friends visiting Wanaka.

As a large group we were very happy with our meal and the service. Good coffee, eggs were very fresh and so yellow. An absolute delight. I hate pale pastey eggs. I would return just for the eggs.

We're all about slow food, served fast. Big Fig hits the sweet spot between food thatâs really good and ready to go. Our dishes are fresh, made by chefs and packed with flavour. You choose a plate size and we fill it the way you want. Come fill your plate
Don't let the meat put you off, you can order lots of delicious salads (coleslaws and roast veggie salads when I visitied). You can also order a vegetable tagine. I cannot recommend enough that you should visit here - it was recommended to us by one of the locals!
