Reviews on Cafe food in Volgograd, Volgograd Oblast, Russia. Known as Stalingrad during much of the Soviet era, Volgograd is now an important industrial city of just over a million people. During World War II, the hill of Mamayev Kurgan was one of the bloodiest locales of the Battle of Stalingrad (the deadliest battle in history, claiming a million and a half lives), and is now the site of a memorial complex. The Panorama Museum, named for the massive Battle of Stalingrad panoramic painting it houses, is another of the city’s most popular attractions.

It's located near to the Fine Art Museum. They carry many cakes and cookies, beverages and icecreams. They bake their products here to provide them to their chain stores. Mainly it's a shop. There is a narrow long table along the wall, and customers can use this table if they want to eat here. Interior is very plain simple, not comfortable. It's the place for coffee break, not for having rest with coffee. Many people comes and buys cakes. Many children come and buy various icecreams.

I can say nothing about food or service in this place, because if you donât smoke hookah-itâs impossible to stay there.Smell is so strong or venting system is too low, that your head is full of this specific smell. We couldnât stay there even for 20 minutes. Prices for locals are not democratic at all,for foreigners are fine.Thank you for your feedback and concern to the bar "Redwood". We regret if the visit you described in your review overshadowed. We do not recommend visiting the bar for guests with children, as well as allergic reactions to raw materials for hookah. The bar has a powerful air recovery system, but due to the specificity of the distribution of hookah smoke its work is not always effective. We hope to see you again at Redwood.

We stayed in Volgograd for three days and had lunch everyday at this place. The decoration is some of the most beautiful I've seen. Even the bathroom has character. The attention was very good, they speak some English, the food was excellent, good variety and menu in English (very important and rare in Volgograd). We loved this place and highly recommend it. It's right on the boulevard on Lenina Prospekt.Thank you for your feedback! Hope to see you soon again :)

You can have a rest either inside or outside. Very peaceful place in the center. If you want to visit a toilet you should go there together with a translator as Odessa jokes are announsed in the toilet. Odessa is the city of best jokers in the world. You will always be too amased even after having short conversation with any citizen of Odessa (by the way it is hero-city). They know the life as if they are phylosophers. On the other side of the street you will see monument to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya (first lady Soviet Union Hero while the war.)

While in Volgograd, after a long day of touring around, I was just about to meet with someone when I got the message cancelling everything. In cold December, cappuccino is a well-placed, cozy and refined coffee place. The drink to its name is quite well but black tea is amazing. Prices are accordingly to the rest of the city.

Very recommended.Particularly notable the kitchen with a front view in the dinner area, where you can see your pilmeni being prepared.

This is a very easy going restaurant where you can pick and choose from all the Russian favorites, starters, main plates and desserts. It's cheerful and friendly too and even has a baby seat.
