Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The cafe opens around 9.30 am (ish) on a Saturday - it was just opening as we arrived. There's delicious looking cakes in the cabinet. The staff handed us the menus, which also had filled bagels listed. I had the smoked salmon bagel with pesto, rocket and avocado. My partner had the ham bagel with cheese and rocket. Both were delicious.I had an espresso, which was fantastic. The decor is quite quirky and the staff are welcoming.I would definitely come here again for breakfast, brunch of pastries if I had the chance.

We are Valparaiso. We are because here our ancestors were born. Here they grew up, worked and built their destinies. It was here that those pioneers defeated typhoons, wildfires, earthquakes. Here they made Valparaiso a huge door where the Chileans go out
A friend showed us that amazing restaurant and we enjoyed a three course meal for lunch. There were two options for the starter and the main meal and ice tea was served. It was around 5'800 Chilean Pesos for everything and the food was super tasty and delicious! Definately a must-visit!

It's quite expensive for what it is, food was nothing too special. Not fully satisfied with the burger - too much caramelized onion and not enough salt, felt too sweet.Fries were ok. Beer options were good but very pricey.Overall, I'd not come back any time soon - even if the place looks great and service was attentive. So sorry to hear that! we try our best to make you feel La Joya experience!

We came here largely for the vegetarian options as these are limited in Chile. We had a great meal - the terrace is lovely with a good view over the harbour. The staff are very friendly. We had vegetarian croquettes to share, then I had the veggie burger and my husband had veggie pancake. All the food was delicious and the portions ample. Good value for what we had.Thank you for your comments and we are glad you enjoyed your experience at ViaVia.

We ate a very good dinner here --- following a very tasty free appetizer, I ate the pescado de roca and my wife had the vegetarian curry. Both the environment --- comfortable and quiet --- and the service were excellent. The prices are very reasonable. (The address listed is correct, but the spot at which the map puts the restaurant is completely wrong.)Thank you for your visit we are waiting for you again.

Went with my girlfriend who lives in Valparaiso, but havenât heard about this restaurant. I found it just googling âvalparaiso best breakfast placesâ, and it wasnât wrong. The place from outside is very typical Valpo style, but once inside itâs âgringoâ. Good music and looks nice. The waitress that help us with the menu was quite nice and explained us any doubt we got. But ok enough about that. I asked for a breakfast that includes toasts, pancakes, natural juice, coffee, eggs and bacon, my girlfriend asked for something like mine but not so humongous, and everything was great! Serving sizes, temperature, flavor and quality! I do criticize a lot places like this regarding quantity/quality and how expensive they are. But for my surprise this was the best place I have had breakfast in Valparaiso! I totally recommend it and if youâre planing for a long walk day itâs the best choice, got a lot of energy/calories in these breakfasts. PS. Spoke with one of the owners and told me the syrup they got there was all natural made by them, itâs not packed maple syrup. Hi David!Really glad you liked our restaurant! It shows that we were not the first place you tried in Valpo, and after comparing, it is really great to hear that you think we are doing a good job! I hope to see you again soon!!Thanks again for writing. We work hard and it really means a lot.Best,Eli
