Restaurants in Tugun
This cafe is similar to many other cafes found on the Gold Coast but you can expect traditional Australian foods such as breakfast, burgers, sandwich, cakes, fresh juices. The staff are most accommodating, friendly and go to great lengths to accommodate special requests. I have a gluten free diet, and this cafe provides a great range of gluten free traditional beach cafe foods which are gluten free. Indeed, it is difficult to find gluten free meals of this nature in many cafes. The prices are reasonable and the managers are very attentive to the needs of customers.

We stopped in on the way home to the coast, burgers were very nice and the owner was lovely also. Everything tasted very fresh. Very friendly and helpful when deciding on a burger. They have a range of different salts to choose for your chips which is a nice unique touch. Will definitely be back.

Come and sit opposite the beautiful Coolangatta beach and enjoy our hospitality. Our kitchen team has put together a great menu for you, look out over the water while sampling our extensive beverage list. Down to earth staff, hearty modern Australian dish
Bellakai was our daily meeting place on a recent holiday with friends. Can't thank the team at Bellakai enough for their friendly service and great food. The location is wonderful but it was the service and food that kept us coming back. See you next year.

Jay's Food Emporium offers you a unique experience. Come in to enjoy great food and coffee. View our sauce and dressings made in store. Treat yourself to one of our hand made sauces to take home.
I decided to stop in after my teenage son kept raving about the food - he eats a lot and is conscious of how much he spends (now he's earning his own money!). I bought a bacon and egg burger and it was reasonably priced and delicious. Nothing fancy, just good food and service.

An observation - I arrived 30 minutes early for a morning meeting at Zest - I quietly observed that in that time Zest served (very efficiently) more than 30 customers (take away and seated, yet the coffee shop next door had one person arrive. I THINK that 'voting' with their feet and the remarkable volume difference between the shops tells a HUGE tale!I was served PERFECT poached eggs (one item I am always searching for to be perfect) and they were!. My colleague had a Mexican breakfast pot that looked and smelt so delicious I HAD to try some - it was dreamboat! I also tried one of their juices (named 'hangover' it was extremely refreshing). Plus I accidentally ordered the wrong coffee for my colleague and the staff at Zest were fabulous and simply produced the coffee I was meant to order (no fuss. no extra charge) I was mega impressed. An excellent experience all around (apart from having difficulty actually locating the place GPS does not assist - but follow the customers and delicious coffee aromas:-)Allin

Another visit to Avvia and as per usual the atmosphere, staff service and food was amazing. Not often do you find consistency of this kind I'm restaurants. Perhaps it's because they pride themselves on ensuring a dining "experience" above all else. Started with prawn dumplings, then we shared the lamb and prawn gnocchi. Finished with chocolate souffle. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful bottle of Syrah. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and give Avvia a visit.Meagan, thanks for leaving such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you had another amazing dining experience at AVVIA, Our team will definitely be happy to hear of your wonderful feedback. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in daily. Thank you for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again

After a walk from Coolangatta we wanted a quick bite before returning to Melbourne at the airport. Was surprised to find this cool little cafe with a very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely coffee, scones and toastie which was delicious and generous. We stayed for some time with no push from staff to leave once we had finished. Easy walk across the highway to airport

Well I donât think third time lucky here. After three owners, the place has deteriorated so much since the start. I have a review on the first owner, as excellent from coffee to food to service. Second owner I thought give a chance but it was below par. Tried again......and not a birdy in sight! Very poor eggs Benedict and coffee! Shall not waste my hard earned wages here again. I have only written three poor reports over the years but standards need to be adhered to. No one likes to throw their money to the wind Sorry but change your chefs ASAP and start again if you have the same chef from second owner rethink as that was their downfall.

Currumbin is still a seaside village with a pristine white beach, relaxed lifestyle and a small local community. The Elephant Rock is an iconic part of this community, established since 1990, and having a complete renovation in 2007 to create a fresh invit
We happened to stumble across this little gem for breakfast whilst on our recent holiday. I ordered the âeggs bennyâand my hubby ordered eggs three ways. They were delicious. We were also very pleasantly surprised with our tasty coffee as my husband is a long black snob. The view was also pretty impressive- with all that ocean- and we suspect this cafe is a local favourite by all the clientele. A Currumbin must.
