Very much enjoyed our breakfast. Engaging with the family staff and the delicious frittatas highlighted our time there. Excellent coffee too. All the food being brought out looked fabulous. Serving on small plates disguises the ample portions. Not a big place but line moved quickly.

Away from the most touristy area; nice to avoid the crowd, Lighthouse doesn't look like much (and is on the small side) but was a good, solid place for breakfast and lunch items. Everything seemed scratch made and authentic. HUGE portions. We'd gladly go back.

Avoid at all costs! We visited Sausalito on a trip over from San Francisco, sadly we didnât head further through the town and instead opted for one of the waterfront cafeâs on the main road.We were served by a male member of staff who took our order quickly. However thatâs where the good experience ends. The food arrive and my sandwich wasnât what I ordered, Iâm a vegetarian & it was filled with pastrami, despite there being no mention of it on the menu. When I pointed this out, the waiter shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I had to call him back & ask for a menu before he took any notice of me. When I showed him the menu he said I should have know it had pastrami in it???He then said Iâd have to wait 20 minutes for a replacement & no apology. He was unbelievably rude & quite aggressive, despite the fact my husband was sitting next to me. I told them not to bother. He eventually came back over after both my husband & son had finished their food & said heâd ordered me a replacement cheese sandwich free of charge. I appreciated the gesture, but it was really too little, too late. There was also another aggrieved table in there at the sane time, complaining about being over charged. Subsequently since reading the reviews, this doesnât appear to be an isolated incident, such a shame. It really soured our trip to a beautiful place. If youâre looking for somewhere to eat in Sausalito, head through the town as there are some gorgeous looking places further on last the marina on the seaward side!

Looking at the menu we could tell the Dipsea specialized in Greek food and we pretty much went all in. The Gyros, Meze Plate (spanakopita, dolmades, falafel, pita, Greek salad, pepperoncinis, tzatziki and skordalia), and Souvlaki Special were all really, really good. My son's Fish and Chips was also quite tasty - he loved it though I felt it was not quite in the same league as our Greek feast. And the portion sizes were *huge* - we were famished after hiking the serendipitously named Dipsea Trail and only my son succeeded in finishing off his meal.As for drinks, my Arnold Palmer was delicious (our waitress even asked how sweet I wanted it mixed) but it couldn't hold a candle to the milk shakes and smoothies. The rest of my family deservedly adored their Oreo shake, Vanilla shake, and Strawberry Colada smoothie. The service was exceptional (thank you Debbie) and the decor a kind of quaint country kitchen meets the sea.

This cafe is the first you encounter as you leave the ferry and is opposite a nice park area with a fountain. My husband had an excellent chicken Caesar salad and I had the chowder and quiche combo which I would happily eat again. We finished with icecreams in a tub which were very generous. Service was pleasant and we were given samples of three icecreams to try before we chose. The lovely wooden interior was a pleasure to sit in.

When on Angel Island this is the only spot for food. Unless you planned ahead and brought food, eat here. We did the Angel Island / Alcatraz tour and there is nowhere to get food after here. The menu is pretty straight forward. One of us had a chicken wrap, and honestly 2 people could have shared this. I was here during the week, and it was pretty steady. I would imagine that weekend would be much busier.

I have eaten gluten-free here safely several times so can recommend it for celiacs. Close to the famous houseboats and easily accessible by bus (if you read the schedule carefully). Fast service. All American food. Good taste. Good quality. Good prices. Friendly service.

We stopped in Sausalito on our drive from San Francisco to Napa for a quick mid morning coffee break. This lovely cafe with outdoor seating was just the thing! The service at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered freshly baked chocolate croissants & excellent cinnamon rolls with the right amount of frosting (not mile-high globs of it) with our cafe lattes. For the beautiful location by the bay everything was remarkably reasonable.

Classic Sausalito spot serving Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch for over 50 years! Try our special omelets, fluffy pancakes and unique french toast made with ice cream and grilled to perfection. Great for recovering after a wild night out or a meal with the fa
We had lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs and bacon, and an omelet. The food was delicious and the service was stellar. We were welcomed even though it was coming close to the end of their brunch service. They made sure we had everything wanted and were so friendly. It is small cafe, a bit off the beaten path which was exactly what we were looking for; if you want to escape the busy tourist scene near the ferry, this is the place for you!

After researching Trip Advisor, I decided to stop at this place for a late breakfast. Small, quaint and packed; they didnât disappoint. I sat at the bar watching the cook place banana slices on the Mickey Mouse pancakes for kids while enjoying my eggs, fresh hash browns and real freshly sliced sour dough toast (the best).
