We were very well catered for in our group of 4 plus an infant. We had two coeliacs which often complicates things however the Angel staff were fantastic and very supportive. Their knowledge of products containing gluten were great. They also had a real highchair with a tray to use - something that most parents can attain is quite difficult to find!

Where I find a lot of Greggs have closed their restaurant area, this one seems to have been improved! A very comfortable and well decorated seating area provided a decent area to enjoy our lunch. which was up to Greggs usual high standards.

This café is right in the centre of Stowmarket, and serves good range of basic English food. The breakfast selection is excellent, and they also do an impressive lunch. This is at the cheap end of the market, but excellent value. The chef can fry an egg and serve it with a runny yoke, the staff are friendly, and everything appears to be cooked to order. Prices are good, and portions reasonable, but not small. They have a few out-door tables, the road they are on is traffic free.

Visited with family including small children. Staff were friendly and helpful. However was disappointed when food arrived. 3 of us had chicken and it was cold when it arrived and had to be returned Adult meals had very small portions of chips.. Just 8!! And coleslaw missing off 2 salads. Not particularly cheap so expected better standard and larger portions.

Cabbages and Kings is a new community café in the heart of The Mix. We opened in April 2015 and offer a range of hot and cold food, cakes and coffee! We have a fenced kids area for worry-free playtime, and are able to cater to any dietary requirements. Go
After hearing about The Mix from lots of people I thought it was about time I tried it out myself. I was not disappointed. After two visits in two days I can safely say I sampled a few things and everything was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. There was gluten free options, a child friendly space and the staff are extremely accommodating. Will be using this for our catch ups from now on.
