I visited here for the first time with my brother and nephew who reccomend this place for a light lunch. My nephew recommend the pancakes with bacon and syrup. This was very nice and filling. I decided to ask for a milkshake strawberry flavour, I asked the waitress was there and ice cream in there milkshakes and she said yes, so I was expecting a similar quality toast five guys milkshake or the Diner or Ed's dinner milkshakes. Unfortunately this was not the case, there was no thickness to the milkshake and it reminded me of Nesquick home made quality. Even a McDonald's milkshake was better than this, and they are basic. I will not be ordering a milkshake from there again. I then asked for a Coke Cola and was offered a traditional Cola instead which I had not had before from a bottle, but tried. This was also a disappointment. I am giving 4 stars based only on the pancakes nothing else.

Casual dining experience, overlooking our lakes . All of our food is freshly cooked to order, with the majority being home-made in-house. Throughout the week we bake a selection of scrumptious cakes ! Enjoy our freshly ground selection of coffees.
A lovely setting by the fishing lake (trout fisheries) nice to watch the local fishermen landing their catches, taking photos, then putting the fish back! restaurant is at the moment quite small with a few covers, so booking is a good idea, and at the moment does not have evening hours. Still nice for breakfast or lunch.

The welcome was very friendly and the coffee excellent and of large size. My Americano, that came with hot milk and one cappuccino only cost £4.00. That is very good value compared to Costa and Starbucks. The sofa was extremely comfortable and although we only had a coffee, we didn't feel rushed. The whole atmosphere was very calm and relaxed.

following an overnight stay in Southend on Thursday i didnt fancy breakfast at the hotel so after a long walk along the front i stopped at Rebecca,s .Im so glad i did. After a warm welcome I enjoyed one of the best breakfasts i have ever had.The food was cooked fresh using good quality produce. It was served hot and well presented.A small pet hate of mine is when beans are already on the plate, here they were served in a small pot ,happy days. I went for the big breakfast and it lived up to its name. Staff were friendly and the cafe was very clean.I had a chat with the owner who is greek.A lovely man who told me he has had the cafe for many years and its shows in the whole experience.Wouldnt hesitate again if visiting Southend. Thank you and Yammas to you all !!

What a lovely little eatery have had various off the menu over the years from cooked breakfast other lunches toasted sandwiches and lovely home cooked cakes. It's outdoor seating is lovely on a warm day and it's very popular as dogs are welcome. There prices are good and staff are friendly and the food is lovely and cooked fresh . The only down fall due to its popularity on a weekend if you don't get out early you might have to wait. Well worth visiting my friends and I have no complaints .

Maybe not the greatest of all time but definitely up there with the best. Excellent chilli con carne (didnât need the chips but they were excellent too). Staff excellent, kitchen running like clockwork, waiting staff just the right side of attentive. Unbelievable we didnât have to queue but within 15mins there was a queue. Brilliant.

Iâve had a couple of take-aways from here recently - one was delivered, the other I collected. The service is cold and not especially welcoming. The four cheese sauce for the pasta is far from cheesy, the pasta is not fresh; however, the cheese garlic-bread is amazing! The food is cheap and hot and if youâre after something quick, then will suffice. I think they excel in their breads and piadinas.
