Friendly café open 7 days a week, with a waitress service. Phone orders and take away orders accepted, with delivery within walking distance. A wide variety of foods available from breakfasts to dinners, including meal deals, and daily specials. No reques
Went here for breakfast, really not good. Bacon and beans cold. Toast was Luke warm but hard and chewy. I know it's a cheap breakfast but it should be edible. Not enjoyable at all, never again!!!!!I am sorry to hear that you have had an unpleasant experience in my café. It is very important to me that my customers receive the best service and food possible. With this in mind I would urge you to come again and I will see to it personally that you have a more positive experience.

Was throughly enjoying lunch with my daughter when I came across a hair in my melted cheese! Although I understand it was a mistake but it also prevented my daughter from finishing her lunch, when I quietly pointed it out no apology was offered and was charged for the full bill until I pointed out I wasn't going to pay for it to be told "you ate most of it" unbelievable! If service is important to you then steer clear!
Doddington Tea Rooms. Situated in the lovely village of Doddington in the heart of the Garden of England, Kent. We're delighted to invite you to our lovely family run Tea Rooms serving up freshly made sandwiches and cake, pots of tea and coffees, panini's
A small but lovely village tea room with indoor and outdoor seating, unusually it has a nautical theme inside, but is spotlessly clean and well kept. Serves a range of teas, coffees with cakes etc. plus light lunches. All at reasonable prices. Next door to a craft and art shop with some lovely ideas for presents and gifts, many produced very locally.

It does not happen every day to enjoy an afternoon tea in an old-time clipper! Furthermore, if it is a good cream tea in anice and cozy environment! The only think, it smelled terribly of petrol and the lavatories - nautical style, even though i sail myself and I am quite accustomed to that kind of pumps - were rather hard to use.
Visited today for the first time and from the moment we walked in the place felt warm & friendly. All the seats were taken with either people sitting eating or reserved seating which was a good sign.We ordered our food choice which was served in no time and lovely presented,it tasted gorgeous and fresh, smoked salmon & creamed cheese jacket potato, homemade coleslaw & salad....Followed by homemade Lemon Cake & Victoria Sandwich.....washed down with a Latte coffee..Lovely lady served us who was very friendly....We will return again without a doubt.

Visited here for lunch after six days in Morroco. Great bacon baguette. Not sure how much was due to thinking about it all morning. But was good quality bacon served quickly.

This is in my opinion. An average cafe. The location is good. Itâs clean and tidy. Tables cleaned down promptly as vacated. Staff very polite and efficient. Our food was served promptly and with generous size portions. Itâs average quality. Prices were also average.

Our friends recommended The Maypole to us knowing we enjoy great food in a lovely country pub. We chose the homemade Steak & Ale pie. There was also the option of rabbit. We opted for the mash and fresh vegetables to accompany our pie. Delicious chunky chips are available too. Saw them being served to other diners with the most amazing looking double burgers. Can honestly say Iâve not had such a delicious meat pie in a long time. The meat comes from a local farm shop just up the road. Lovely warm welcome from the landlord and landlady. Nice relaxing atmosphere and no Tvâs or music Just perfect in my opinion. Wi-fi available for those that need to stay connected. Definitely be back very soon and will be sampling the burgers. Thankyou for a lovely review. We are proud to be a pub that sells food..no poncy pile up small portions for us ..sorry we couldn't accommodate on the friday for your double burger ....but we hope to see you again soon
