Stopped by for a light lunch. Lovely freshly made sandwiches and some wonderful homemade cake. Will be calling in again next time in the area.

Sam's 'caff' is our favourite place to skip along to for a quick, bad-for-you, delicious fry-up. It's got an extensive and varied menu (including Italian if you like it) with lovely things like black pudding and bubble-and-squeak, a variety of omelettes cooked to your taste, and my only quarrel with the food is Sam bridles at the mere idea of streaky bacon. The prices are remarkably low. In good weather you can eat outside... And you'll want to because I have to say, it tends to be extremely noisy indoors when all the lorry-drivers are in.

I love this restaurant. The food is the best Italian food outside of Italy, authentic and delicious. The service is excellent and always delivered with a smile. My grandsons, two and five, want to eat there every time we take them out and my mother, 89, doesn't like any other restaurant. I would strongly recommend a visit if you haven't already been there.

We were a large party (11) for brunch and consequently not only made a reservation but also we were asked to pre-order, which was fine. Extensive and imaginative menu, veggie and vegan options, decent portion size without being ridiculous. Nice coffee. Service was friendly and everything arrived exactly as ordered and pretty much at the same time. Couldn't ask for much more really.

This place has opened up under new management and they're not doing a bad job of replicating what was there before. The old owners had the place running really well for a lunch time cafe (Omelettes recommended), the new ones appear to be trying to just replicate what it was before and it's working so far although not quite up to the old quality yet, i will be back to see if they crack it.

We visited on Saturday morning and although early it was already busy. Having recently moved to Chertsey we were keen to try Joeâs Cafe and were delighted to receive such a friendly greeting. We both had the full English breakfast with filtered coffee. It was great and just what we needed! Look forward to going back.
