We have been a couple of times (just for coffee/cake) and really like it - the building has been refurbished beautifully, there are lots of paintings and other art on display, a nice little shop and this spacious cafe. Nice staff, good coffee, cakes variable but usually good.

This place is on Finklecstreet at the top end of Richmonds market centre heading towards MacKenzie Thorpes gallery. It's a very tastefully decorated and styled place that hold an air of subtle sophistication that teases you in to its delights and moorish flavours. The food is so good as are the drinks. I recommend the decaf flat white for sure. The owner is such a pleasant person it was a pleasure to stop, chat and enjoy the drinks.

Went for the first time using a group on deal for afternoon tea . Very nice choice of freshly made sandwiches with salad crisps and coleslaw between two of us presented on a tray . A choice of scone or cake to follow . Good value even at full price . Friendly chap waiting on ...... Very chatty ! Rather small inside and tables very close together . Would perhaps return again one day .Thanks for your kind review and I hope youâre able to come back again soon.Glad you enjoyed it!

We are a small grocers / cafe in Richmonds Historic Market Place. We offer a full range of drinks, snacks and light meals.Everything available apart from the bread we use is made on the premises.
It is not often that one goes somewhere that provides exactly what one wants. Jeffersons did that for us. We only needed a bite to eat at lunch time but the generous granary rolls with cut Wensleydale cheese and homemade chutney were perfect. The owner was very friendly and pleasant to us and enriched the experience of eating at the big table.

This location is shown as an attraction, but it is also an important eating place on this highway.
As you enter Mainsgill foyer, you are faced with a wonderful food emporium. Fresh meat, cheese, wine fresh bread. Upstairs there is an excellent shop with ladies clothes, jewellery, China, cards and luxury chocolates. Overall a wonderful experience. Donât letâs forget the excellent restaurant providing snacks with home made cakes and scones to full blown meals. Donât expect to lose weight after experiencing the restaurant.

Stopped off for breakfast as cafe was full so thought that was a good sign. Dog friendly and no water was offered for her on such a hot day. Service polite and friendly food was hot but tasteless basic cheap sausages and black pudding if paying 19.00 for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks I did expect it to have some taste but st least the dog enjoyed them. Wouldn't return or recommend for breakfast

We were having a mooch in Richmond and decided to find somewhere to eat, I opened TripAdviser and looked for our nearest location. We spotted this cafe and thought it was worth a go, my goodness me are we glad that we did!!We had the burger which was the BEST we have ever had. My husband is a huge fan of burgers and has eaten them in many countries around the world, this one now tops the list of the most favourite ones to have been consumed.Would highly recommend this place, we were very lucky to arrive at a time when a table was about to be vacated but it looked like you would be best to book as it looks to be very popular.

Whilst on a break in North Yorkshire we were lured from Upper Wharfedale, where we were staying, to a village just outside Richmond, by the promise of excellent food (according to trip advisor) in the North West Yorkshire pub of the year, the George and Dragon at Hudswell.Oh how we wished we hadn't.On arrival and ordering drinks, I asked if they had a white zinfandel rose, which is a sweet wine. The barman who was new was told by another, that the bottle that he had in his hand was a sweet rose.He did infact have two bottles each with about an inch of wine left in them which he poured into a glass and handed to me.It was not a sweet wine and of course tasted like vinegar, being only the dregs from the two bottles.I had already chosen from the menu back in Wharfedale, as a trip advisor entryhad stated that the Beef Brisket 'was to die for', well I would not give a fraction of a second of life for the dried up, tough lump of meat that was served to me.I had imagined a succulent piece of beef slowly braised in delicious gravy, not the hard to cut and difficult to chew offering that was served. My husband chose a pie which he declared to be very ordinary.I have vowed never to take notice of trip advisor posts on the quality of food in an establishment again! The pub itself does not have a lot going for it either, not very cosy and with a modern extension which is like an old fashioned boarding house. Not sure how this is the North West Yorkshire pub of the year, there are plenty of better pubs in the area, there is one just down the road at Downholme.

Our first visit here with friends and found Coughlans very impressive. Tucked away in Barningham but easy to find. Small and intimate dining space, fabulous food from albeit a small menu and wonderful service. For such quality, both food and wine are NOT overpriced and it represents very good valueThank you for your reviewwe are delighted you enjoyed your visit to Coghlans and look forward to greeting you again soon

We are a traditional family run tearoom situated on the first floor. Amongst our beverage range we offer 16 speciality teas & as well as our delicious display of cakes & pastries, we serve breakfast, lunch & afternoon teas. Our Sunday roast is also a favo
Came across this little gem after visiting tenants auction rooms for a classic ford meet. The staff were most welcoming and everything was home made. The cakes are generous portions and so was the tea. They were making Sunday lunches which looked very appetising. All in all very good service and cozy atmosphere.
