Things to do in Redhill
My wife Jennifer and I recently visited a lovely coffee shop in the village of South Merstham, near Redhill, Surrey. Located in a small parade of shops in the high street, this privately owned family business is run be two very attractive ladies Debbie and her sister Sam. Ron the father runs the 'backroom'. The café is open each day including Sundays and Bank Holidays. There are NO parking restrictions on the high street. There is seating outside in good weather and seating in the front and back of the shop. There are very clean toilets at the rear. There is very varied menu of snacks including breakfasts, rolls, sandwiches, salads, and many home cooked cakes. Hot and cold drinks also.
Came here for a light lunch with a friend and the food was delicious - probably one of the nicest BLTâs I have ever had. Pastries were also delicious. Staff delightful. Would recommend.

Brilliant for lunches. Lovely coffee and the best brownies you have ever tasted. If you'reâ after quiche or an amazing avocado on toast its perfect you could sit here for hours grazing through what they have to offer, really friendly staff and great service ... Everything you want from a cafe!
Without doubt the Number 1 sandwich shop in Redhill, it is always busy with regularly queuing, don't let this put you off it is because it is so good

Popped in for a coffee and were so impressed we booked for lunch.Coffee, scone and gluten free toast were all excellent.Lovely staff who were friendly and very efficient.Wide variety of dishes for lunch. All three of us had something different and everything was delicious. Mackerel salad, chicken wrap and scrambled egg on toast.Very impressed by the afternoon tea served to nearby table. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble as the staff accommodated child and baby.Wish we lived nearer.

Inspired by French cuisine and Parisienne bistro style. Cafe Rouge is your local bistro to enjoy delicious food and gorgeous glass of wine.
We use this restaurant fairly frequently and always enjoy our visit. Today was no exception. The food was well cooked and presented and the service is always excellent. Itâs a friendly and attentive team and today we met a new Manager, Sylwia, who made us feel very welcome.

Open to everyone, The Pilot's Hub is a 1930's aviation-themed brasserie and coffee house ideally based airside at Redhill Aerodrome; serving superb quality homemade food with virtually everything down to the cakes and chutneys freshly made on the premises
It pains me to write this review as up until this months I've always loved the Pilots hub.The Hub is a staple of life around here. My wife and I are one of countless families that go almost every Sunday for breakfast and we have never failed to enjoy are visit. The staff are local, friendly and well trained. The food is on point and Served hot in a timely manner. However, this month something seems to have change and it's not for the better. Today, for the second week in a row my family was on the receiving end of one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever received. We raised are concerns with the manger behind the desk only to be told "what do you want, we are short staffed"Please undo whatever you have changed as you are a local institution and your going down a slippery path.Hi Wildfish,Thank you for your review, and for all the positive things that you have to say about us. I am concerned about the less positive aspects. I apologise unreservedly for the comments that were made to you and would like to establish a little more detail, if you wouldn't mind, please. If you could email me at [email protected] with a phone number, I'd like to call you? Once I have established what happened, I would like to invite you back for breakfast for two, on the house. For clarity, nothing has changed here. Still the same owners, and chef. Largely the same kitchen and waiting staff, with the exception of normal staff turnover - so we are keen that we don't go down any slippery paths and want to establish what went wrong recently.

Quirky, welcoming café serving fresh home cooked food for breakfast & lunch! Our signature dishes include Salt beef sandwich served with homemade red slaw, warm oven poached chicken wrap, Wookey hole cheese melts & homemade meatball wrap with gooey cheese
Salted beef Hash! Is incredible and perfect lunch in a great little cafe thatâs busy but without the hustle and bustle. Somehow, you walk through the door and feel chilled and relaxed. A massive menu of sandwiches, wraps, paninis etc. Great tea, great coffee and very polite and helpful staff!Iâd say if ya in the area, absolutely pop in and have a drink and you see what I mean. Wow! Thank you for your outstanding review! It makes it all worthwhile when we read how much our customers have enjoyed the "Beryl and Pegs" experience. We look forward to welcoming you again.
