Firstly the staff are friendly and attentive but unfortunately thatâs where it ends. Microwave pancakes from a plastic packet, microwaved bullet proof poached eggs are not acceptable. Their wraps and sandwiches are ok but then again thereâs no major cooking in these. Wouldnât be my first port of call.
Lovely cafe in a heart of the village with parking spaces and great facilities for the family All food is freshly prepared and we use only the best ingredients. There is only one special ingredient - lots if love
Great place, absolutely delicious coffee, they make it however you like it. Food is lovely too, nicely presented and very tasty.
Want a place toeat while in Ashbourne Industrial PArk, well you can't go wrong here. The coffee court has an excellent spread of home cooked food. Great Irish breakfasts spread, luch, rolls to go, excellent coffee and desserts. Well worth a trip for a busy driver or family group - and cheap too.Ask Carol, she is excellent for assistance.

Visited here for a late lunch didn't feel that hungry so we decided to have 2 BLT'S and a side of chips. Food was beautiful and hot and what a portion of chips it was the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant and they were the ones with some skin still on them. Staff were very attentive and you could see that they know most of the people in Ashbourne as they would all be talking to each other even the chef was out talking with tables which is always good to see. Large variety of food on the menu from burgers to wraps chicken curry all day breakfasts we will be back thanks for a great late lunch

Small caf,e style restaurant
Letâs keep this simple. If you want the best fry up for brekkie in Meath. This is the place. Bikers and Cyclists know where to stop and this is a firm favourite. The brekkie you think you want is probably too big so choose size carefully but rest assured the taste and flavour is top notch.

First time in the Wildflower Cafe today. At first it seemed really nice. Ordered the full Irish and to say it was swimming in grease would be an understatement. How anyone let this plate leave the kitchen is beyond me. I had to use a napkin to soak up some of the grease and even after that, there still was a pool of grease on the plate. I told the blonde lady and in fairness she did seem a bit horrified. She didn't charge me although I hadn't eaten anything. I did offer to pay for my coffee and again the lady wouldn't take payment. Such a shame this lovely cafe was let down by such substandard cooking. Also the produce on the plate even if it hadn't been swimming in grease was of the cheapest quality. I can honestly say the worst breakfast in my 50 years. Never again for me.

Went for lunch today and I have to say after being numerous times, it was so disappointing. I ordered a open sandwich that said sun-dried tomatoe along with other toppings. What came was pesto and lashings of it underneath the chicken, on top of it. I took one bite and pushed it aside as very overpowering. What annoyed me the most was, not one member of staff came over to see was everything ok which they do every other time I am there. They walked by numerous times and ignored the fact I had left a full sandwich there. When my friend went to pay, they again didn't ask was everything ok and by the time I got to the till with my pram, she had put through the payment as quick as possible. When I mentioned it to her she said how it said sun dried tomato but not pesto as I pointed out and her reply was Oh you should of said I would of changed it. There was 4 other tables in the place so not busy yet the staff went out of their way to not come to my table.

Yes Mother's Day will be hectic in any restaurant but after our experience and the same sub standard service we won't be returning. The food is beautiful when it's all warm....finally they've realized after about a year to bring all of your breakfast at the same time and not the toast when food has all been eaten (no matter how many times you asked)â¦..unfortunately however as per usual something on the plate was stone cold and don't expect an apology ..just bring the item to the kitchen yourself for reheating as we had to do in this instance. The waiting staff are lovely and the girl who served us was worth her weight in gold but what let's this place down is "the lack of waiting staff" ...if this was rectified there would be no issues!!! The poor girl was up and down the stairs a million times. You would think that will the money they are making that they would value their staff and not over work them. Very very frustrating when you know a place can serve up delicious food but you know No. 1 you will pay over the odds for it but primarily No 2 that you will leave there feeling irritated that half of your meal was cold or that you will have had all of your drinks before there's any sign of your meal. All that is needed is more waiting staff "EVERY SUNDAY", every Sunday is the same.

Three generations of us went to this restaurant for dinner. My two boys aged 9 & 10 both had steak on a stone and loved the idea of cooking their own steaks.I would totally recommend this restaurant for families and couples. The service was brilliant and always with a smile and very helpful. The staff also made up a desert for my nine-year-old.Many thanks and we will all be back again.Hi there , We totally enjoyed serving you - it was great to see the boys enjoy the experience & indeed all of you enjoy the special occasion .
