Popped into Tusk yesterday evening, food was good but disappointed with the hygiene standards, the pepper grinder was thick with black grease I ran my nail across it to discover it was actually wood beneath, clearly had not been cleaned or replaced for a very long time, only a small comment I know but imagine how many germs are breeding on there? and reading some of the other reviews and Iâm pleased I didnât visit the bathroom.

We were very pleased with our decision to eat at Fourth Chapter. We are visiting so picked this cafe by the great reviews we read. Itâs an inviting place with indoor & outdoor seating. We sat indoors and commented on how big the hanging plants were. Our coffees were perfect & beautifully presented. I had the avo toast which was so good & was a very big portion. My daughter had the raspberry pancakes with coconut ice cream & meringue which was also a very big portion & great. I tasted the coconut ice cream & it was delicious. My son in law enjoyed his granola bowl. We were all thrilled to have experienced the exceptional flavors & creations.

Oscar Cooper is very popular and mostly quite full for a weekend brunch. But we really enjoyed our experience. Great food and coffee. Convenient location, and nice people. On a sunny day this makes a perfect breakfast/brunch spot.

What a great little find. We visited here on our first night in Melbourne and absolutely loved the place! Gorgeous food, great atmosphere, good music and friendly staff. The Carbonara was the best Iâve ever tasted. We ate at the Banff on another 2 occasions on our short stay in Melbourne and each time it was equally as good.Great value for money too! Highly recommended

Once you find this place (in Grey Street) you enter a whole new world. Away from the funkiness of many other cafes, this is a gorgeous place to come and have a meal. Today I had the waffles - OMG they were amazing. And then served a coffee that the barissta should be given a gold medal. The staff were lovely and seemed to enjoy working at Miss Jackson. However, service can be slow. Takeaway available. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Parking is okay.

Breakfast at the Galleon was just fantastic. The porridge with fruit as worth it alone, but then I had to have the tofu scramble too, couldn't miss out on that--just great! Tea was very good and the atmosphere is friendly and the staff are attentive.

A short walk from the Prahran Market on Commercial Road, this buzzing little restaurant is an absolute winner. We hadnât booked but they still managed to find us a place on the outside large, undercover and heated, communal table. Excellent spot. Quieter to allow for quiet conversation. Our food was excellent. The Spicy Morrocan Chicken and the NZ Smoked Salmon all day breakfast meal absolutely good value and delicious. Perfectly accompanied by a glass of Savignon Blanc each. Highly recommended.

Overlooking Albert park and breathtaking city views, Fitzrovia has pride of place in our beautiful Federation mansion house with pressed tin ceilings, hand-made brick work, stained glass, baltic pine floors and a host of wonderful original features. From
Return visit - still friendly & enthusiastic service, excellent (healthy) food - something for everyone i.e. vegan, vegetarian or carnivore, relaxed atmosphere, open (& busy) kitchen, small but good value wine list. Highly recommended.
