This is one of the great cafés in the archipelago south of Porvoo. There's a farmer's market here on Saturday mornings during the summer selling local produce and a few gigs and events every now and again. Locals mix and mingle with the odd tourist and the steam ship tour line from Helsinki to Loviisa stops here to pick up and drop off passengers. It's out on an island but it is accessible via winding country roads and a short ferry ride south from Porvoo. The staff is super friendly, there is a mini golf course and a small beach on the premises and a rental sauna as well. A camping ground can be found down the road.

We stopped here during our day trip to Porvoo for lunch. The set lunch was tasty and fabulously fresh. I had the salmon bowl while my husband and son had the chicken bowl. The salmon was beautiful cooked and went well with the other salmon ingredients in the dish. We finished our meal with a gelato and coffee. Good value for the money.
