We are an independent family run business serving traditional favourite dishes in an authentic way. The definition of a bistro is a small inexpensive restaurant with quick service and a licence to sell alcohol with your meal. That is exactly what we do, k
I went to Largs with my husband, granddaughter & great niece. Before going to the swing park we came in here for our lunch. As it was the holiday weekend & the weather was lovely the place was really busy. We eventually managed to get a seat inside. This is the first time we've been here. There menu is really good with lots of different things to pick from. Our meal was lovely, even though they were really busy the service was good. It's on the sea front so the view is great. We will definitely go back hereThank you Maryann for your kind comments. It can be difficult to maintain service when things are really busy so we appreciate your patience, understanding and kindness in taking the time to comment. Iâm delighted that you enjoyed our food and the choices available. we are currently looking at revamping the menu to keep it fresh and seasonal with a few extra winter warmers on the way. I hope we will see you again next time you are in Largs. Very best wishes, Jim.
It's an alright café attached to the supermarket, and, when you are tired, it's somewhere to sit down and relax. We had the chicken and cheese panini with BBQ sauce which was good but not great.Always seems to be very busy, but the staff seem a bit lax at clearing the tables and are more interested in taking away your paddle than the detritus. It is reasonable priced for what they serve, but felt much room for improvement here.

This is a personal favourite for our family. Coffee and cakes, or super-powered hot chocolate hit the spot. The teenagers would recommend the chicken sandwich, guaranteed tasty veggie and vegan options. If it is the Sunday morning after a Saturday party the square slice and tattie scones will set you right. Staff are charming, interested but not invasive.Coffee with a kick and genuine service.Hello Lorraine D, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experiences at CAIRN . . . we really appreciate the kind words and it sounds like you've found somewhere the whole family can enjoy! We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future!Warm regards,Team CAIRN

We often visit for coffee and cake. The staff are lovely and give great service. If the weather's good there is the option of sitting outside. There is a wide variety of cakes and traybakes as well as breakfast and lunch menus. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

This Is A Family Owned Rest Which Has Been Going For A Few Years, It Is Very Popular With Local People And Very Close To The Cruise Terminal
Came here based on TA reviews and wasnât disappointed. The venue is open and spacious and if Iâm honest well finished from what I saw.The staff are friendly and welcoming, the menu has something for everyone I would say. I had the Pasta Pesto and it was good, very tasty and a good portion, maybe some bread on the side would have been nice but no complaints from meYes, I would recommend and would come again!

This was our Sunday must do for SIX years. Then it went sadly down the slippery slope.Last two visits our food was cremated. The cook smokes (her choice) but shouldn't be wearing her apron outside whilst doing so.Nor should she enter the washroom wearing it. So unhygienic. We are very disappointed to read your review, especially given the fact that you have been such a regular with us. We would love the opportunity to investigate further and have relayed your feedback to our team. Please do get in touch on [email protected] where we would hope to further assist.

They have a captive audience since the only competition is the veding machines. There are hardly any healthy options which is ironic since it inside a leisure center. The only thing they seem to serve warm is chips. The kids meals are a total rip off. Ive seen more freshness, quality and variety of food in air drops to refugees. Even if you were hungry you would still avoid it. Terrible.

The coffee, soup and scones in Fresh, Greenock Oak Mall are good. The decor is pleasant, tables are cleaned regularly and the staff are friendly and efficient. Lots of customers seemed to be opting for the soup and sandwich deal or Mac & Cheese. These all looked nice and all the recipients seemed happy with their choices. Obviously itâs a busy place between 12-2 given the Council offices next door, but staff seem well organised and able to cope.

Super busy place especially on a nice day, weekends or during the holidays. Fantastic deli and shop area. Opted for a late brunch from the menu. Considering all of the wonderful food in the shop I was expecting something much better. Bacon was super salty and very fatty, sausage was okay and black pudding tasted very odd almost offputting. Will try again for lunch maybe breakfasts aren't their forte ?Thank you so much for coming to Ardardan, and for taking the time to write about your experience of your visit. We are always delighted to hear from visitors, and your feedback is really helpful and appreciated. Food is a great passion of ours and we are delighted that you saw this coming through in the range of products we have in our farm shop. In our tearoom we pride ourselves on providing simple but super tasty food using the best ingredients we can, and served by great and friendly people. We can't apologise enough that you didn't love the breakfast that you had, and we must and will take this on board and make sure we keep our standards up and as consistent as we can. We really hope that you do decide to pop in again to try other bits and bobs from our freshly prepared homemade menu and that you thoroughly enjoy them if you do. Thank you again for coming, The Montys & Team at Ardardan.
