The weather was lush, we needed a venue to meet up for brunch on a Saturday morning. Where better than the Harbourside cafe.We sat outside in the sunshine and drank coffee as our little group of friends arrived, then all ordered our food. The breakfasts were delicious, all were cooked to perfection and the coffee was quality. As on previous visits the service was second to none. We are all going to be going back again, to enjoy the friendly service beautiful surrounds and above all decent breakfast.Thank you all staff

Our beautifully designed venue within the stunning Tremenheere landscape provides the perfect relaxed dining space with inspiring views across mounts bay. Our constantly evolving menus follow the seasons using the best quality, locally sourced and often,
Booked a table as we had been several times before; had the round one in the middle at which it is impossible to have a conversation. Noise is deafening. Table was sticky and dirty, and although the waitress did wipe it, it just left a rim of sticky fluff around the table edge. Menu unappealing, so only two of our party ate. Mussels lacked flavour; fish and chips very ordinary, and chips so big some were not cooked through. Coffee acidic and had an unpleasant flavour (may be alright if you add milk, but not good it you don't.) Won't be going back, which is a shame as it's in a great location.

We never got to eat in the restaurant in our week here, but found the proprietor to be such a charming and helpful gentleman we felt we needed to let you know to visit if you are in the vicinity. Unlike the pub in Lamorna, whenever we went in here it was packed. A simple menu but the whole place smelt beautifully of mild spice as you entered. It is also cheaper than the Lamorna Cove café. The shop is not tacky and has a lovely selection of prints of the area by local artists amongst tasteful gifts. The selection of cakes on offer was impressive and we 'took out' four generous portions of Victoria Sponge, which was light and delicious. Do drop in. Ample parking!

On arriving I checked whether the cake I wanted to try was available, & was told it was just now being iced. As a notice said to sit down & await table service, I duly sat to await the cakeâs availability, & assumed a waitress would come to take my order for coffee & cake when it was ready. I waited patiently, reading a Kindle book.. & waited & waited. After 20 mins, what looked like the raspberry GF cake was now sat on a counter. I waited for it, it waited for me... we waited & waited. All this time, neither waitress took any notice of me, or updated me on the cakeâs progress, or asked if I wanted coffee, or even looked at me. I finally gave up & walked out, & instead, got some delicious raspberry GF cake & coffee from the Honey Pot in Penzance, & was done in ten minutes flat & actually able to commence my 250 mile drive home. Archie Brown, I have purchased many items from your shop over the years, & really enjoyed my visits. This was my first time in the café, & quite frankly, I am affronted, upset, & inclined to never darken your doors again. Zero customer care! What would it have taken for one of those girls to just come over & talk to me? I had assumed they would do so when the cake was ready, but it now seems apparent that I could have sat there until the Last Trump sounded for all they cared!

Stopped and watched a lunch time film here at midday. Viewing experience is very good with plenty of legroom and comfy seats.Had lunch afterwards in their spacious cafe area. Menu is fairly straightforward although the food does have a touch of class. Pork belly tacos were a very nice light bite as were the freshly prepared cakes. Price is also reasonable for food although drinks are at the slightly higher end but are probably what's expected for this type of venue. Hi Paul, thank you for taking the time to review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your experience in the cinema and restaurant, and are looking forward to your next visit. Kind regards, Newlyn Filmhouse.

We are a welcoming, friendly, happy cafe-bar serving some of the best local produce in Cornwall. We serve specialty coffee from Origin Coffee Roasters, our meat is from our Local Butcher (Harvey Brothers) our bread comes daily from Baker Toms in Falmouth
Inlovvvvveeeee with the decor of this place! You can tell how hard theyâve worked and the added blankets in a basket give it that finishing touch. The wallpaper in the bathroom was pealing and there was a notice on the wall apologising and explaining to customers that someone had ripped it. To be honest, i thought it was all part for the style before I read the notice and thought it was quite quirky Lovely looking place!

Me and my family have been regulars for while! Food amazing, the vegetable fajitas are my favourite, and the chips are the best I've ever had! Service is always friendly, quick and polite! Great choice of specials and a wide variety of speciality teas and coffees! I love it here! Thank you Mr Billy's for giving Penzance a great café!

Ate here on Sunday after a walk around the gardens. Service was prompt and menu lovely. I was just a little disappointed in the quality of the bread for the toasties and the overall cost, felt it was high for the food served but I guess they gave a captive audience.

Polish restaurant and cafe. Lunches and evening dinners. Homemade traditional Polish cuisine. Delicious homemade desserts.
Me and my partner came here to celebrate our anniversary on August 22nd; we have been semi-regular customers to this restaurant and they fail to ever let us down! We had the goulash for a starter, where everything was flavourful and the pork was succulent and cooked to perfection! This was also a lovely portion size which came with some nice bread on the side. For our main, we had the pierogi as we are both big fans of this dish (I discovered it in Poland and these guys get it spot on!). The pierogi was once again, amazing and I felt that the side salad was a great compliment. Finally, we both had a slice of the roulade each; this is my first time trying cake here and Iâll be sure to try again. The roulade wasnât entirely to my taste (Iâve never tried it before today) but it was still good! The luxury hot chocolate was also great, but maybe a bit too hot. This is a very minor detail though.Overall, we had great customer service from an attentive and friendly waitress, as well as a relaxed atmosphere and top quality food. Thank you for finishing off our special day so perfectly!
