Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Papamoa. Papamoa Beach is a suburb of Tauranga, located about 11 kilometres from the city centre. It is the largest residential suburb in Tauranga, having a population of 20,091 at the 2013 census. It is bordered to the west by Mount Maunganui (east of Sunrise Avenue and Hibiscus Avenue), the east by the Kaituna River (separating it from the Western Bay of Plenty District) and to the south by State Highway 2. Papamoa Beach has 16km of white sandy beach stretching from the boundary with Mount Maunganui in the west to the Kaituna River in the east. Zone Café boasts a semi private upstairs area, perfect for business meetings or get togethers. We pride ourselves in our coffee which is why we only use Allpress Coffee. A friendly café thatâs home to many regulars, especially seniors, that come in to use
Love coming hear for collegial networking over coffee. Love the eggs Benedict salmon $20 point difference is a real salmon steak. Flat white I always get. The cookies I die for, peanut brownies my favourite. Pretty popular meeting place. Has upstairs for private functions. They do have menu selections, a window display. You could call this a boutique cafe really.

Wandered in this place by accident but was so glad we did. We were only in the area for a few days but we returned twice it was so good. Quality coffee, top rate service and delicious food. The prawn salad was excellent but the wholemeal coffee and caramel slice was exceptional. Thanks for your lovely review, we are glad that accident brought you to our Cafe and you could enjoy our quality coffee made by expert baristas and our cabinet and kitchen food made with passion and the best ingredientes. We'll see you again :)

Came in with Family for brunch and everyone enjoyed their meals and the price is generous as well according to food quality and quantity just a little disappointed with Service, as i order coffee and it did not came on table ever and staff did not bother to meal check our table or ask for something extra, it was too late to ask for coffee anyway. waitress take it out from our bill which was good, we will come back for food as we really enjoyed it.Awesome to hear the food was excellent and well portioned. It is shame to hear we let you down on the coffee, and missed our usual meal check which would have resolved this for you. We appreciate this feedback as it allows us to smarten up and review adherence to our processes. Thanks for posting useful feedback.

We were really looking forward to this cafe as our local, but we were disappointed to find out there was no cooked breakfasts on the menu as we would have been there every Sunday for breakfast. But we decided to support it, and went there several times. Love the water feature, coffee is ok, but the last time we went mid morning we were the only ones there. We ordered a muffin and coffee. Got the coffee, and waited and waited. No muffin. Finished our coffee, asked for our money back, the lady insisted on giving us a free brownie which was nice. BUT we wanted our muffin, with our coffee.

I have never experienced such misrepresentation of so-called cooked food as by this cafe (sic). My daughter was looking forward to pancakes with a caramel sauce and cream, as promised by the menu. What arrived left us speechless and dumbfounded: three tiny, tiny, tiny pancakes, even smaller than pikelets (the size of an old fifty cent coin), with something that could have been caramel sauce and to top if off, watery whipped cream out of a can. $10: a ripoff. What an affront, insult to what this dish universally looks like. The salmon bagel again left us flabbergasted. An old bagel with a token, lonely bit of salmon spread between it, some lettuce on the plate with a bit of cream-cheese in a container. The customer had to create this boring, unimaginative bagel: the chef didn't even have the professionalism, nor experience to design a flavorsome, exciting multi-layered salmon bagel that slightly stood-out from this kindergarten creation. This place lacks any pride in the food they make, rather what we got was a deceleration of disdain in their costumers (also seen by not labeling their cabinet food with prices). Never again.

Cool, funky relaxed busy cafe minutes walk from Papamoa East Beach. Great food, Organic coffee and friendly service. We cater for all dietary requirements. We have a lot of GF and vegan options
Nice sunny morning, sitting outside at Henry & Ted's for brunch on Father's day with nan & grandies . Great spot for brekkie, place buzzing as usual. Had takeaway coffee from here before thus first time eating here. Great cabinet food selection, typical modern day cafe , plenty of healthy options from either cabinet or from the menu. Had the big brekkie of course, bit of wait ,being fathers day. Food was good ,will return for lunch sometime, the scones here are legendary, they looked good. Recommend for brekkie- brunch.
