Beautiful renovated 19th-century co-op, opened 7 months ago, serving fabulous home baked cakes, breakfasts and lunches. Local produce combined with top quality.
Super veggie friendly lunch and brunch options ...Lavender is the go-to place to eat every time weâre in the Stroud valleys.Worth booking at busy times as can be booked out.The service is a little quaint, but always friendly, and not unduly slow. Most of all, the food is very high quality home cooked and good portions. From breakfasts to sandwiches and amazing cakes.Great for veggies.

My wife and I called here after a recommendation from the Waterways Museum. It is situated in a quirky and colourful lane that leads to Gloucester's magnificent cathedral.Fairly small and slightly old fashioned but brimming with great eats and drinks. Also the gentleman (Kevin?) serving customers proved to be charming, cheerful and friendly.Great coffee and cakes! Child friendly too. Highly recommended.

I visited last week and while the food and coffee were lovely, the counter assistant was disinterested and the person delivering the order cleared the used crockery from the table but left it unwiped, including further spillages she made in the process. Very sloppy service for a cafe with such a good reputation.

So many delicious homemade offerings. All look yummy. I had soup which is served with lovely bread. Sat outside in the small seating area. Friendly staff and hard working at a busy deli. Bought dome goodies to take away for later

Visited on Wednesday for a quiet coffee. As always, the warmest welcome awaited and the service excellent. Genuinely enjoyed the nicest Eccles cake I had EVER tasted, warmed perfectly in the oven, served with a latte. A little gem in a lovely village.

We were on the M5 heading north, back to Leeds, from holiday in the Mendips. We stopped at a service station and couldn't believe the prices for coffee and food. So put 'cafes near me' into Google and found this place.Calm, friendly and fantastic food and coffee. The carrot cake was amazing and mugs rather than small cups of coffee greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

Been here a few times and itâs such a good place for breakfast or lunch, reasonably priced and you can eat indoors or out. Had the Eggs Benedict this time and although they were nice, there was something odd about the hollandaise I couldnât put my finger on. It was oddly sweet and not as sharp as Iâd expect. I should have mentioned it at the time, so donât be put off.
A well-stocked bar, deligtful coffees and hot drinks with plenty of food and snacks to choose from on our menu. Come and relax with beautiful views over the rolling cotswold hills in warm and friendly surroundings. Open to the public, dogs welcome. locate
Well done to the new managers of this establishment. We enjoyed it as Horton's, but the quality of the lunch and service has definitely improved. Yes, I think the cost has increased marginally, but our roast meats were cooked perfectly and the vegetables were delicious. The service is less intrusive but still friendly. We'll definitely be returning soon!Thank you for the lovely review. Glad to hear you enjoyed your meal and all of us here at The Waypoint will be looking forward to welcoming you back in the future.RegardsPaul
