We discovered this lovely cafe quite by chance when we stopped off briefly in Honiton on our way to Cornwall & weâre so glad we did. The staff are lovely and there is a very nice menu to choose from, all beautifully presented when it arrives. On a sunny day there is the added pleasure of sitting outside in their secluded courtyard garden underneath an arbour of vines & grapes. But, make sure you donât miss the âhiddenâ small but delightful garden at the rear.......it just adds to the joy of this place!!

My husband and I had a really good lunch here. The atmosphere was friendly and the music just the right volume. Everything was spotless and the service was leisurely. I had an excellent ham, egg, tomatoes and bubble and squeak, while my husband went for the smoked salmon and poached egg. Both were well-presented, well-portioned and delicious. We will definitely come here again when next on holiday

A traditional restaurant in the centre of delightful Sidmouth. A wide and varied menu including daily specials, with food being home made and locally supplied. Open for breakfast from 8am every day. Come and meet our friendly welcoming staff who will be o
Pleasant atmosphere, It's worth climbing the steps which inhibit many elderly customers. A pleasant High Street building. Long ago it was part of a cinema!Very popular with busy people as well as strollers who get attracted by the outdoor tables.Thank you for your review and we're glad you enjoyed your visit. We do have sloped access at the front of the shop that starts by the shop next door, so we are accessible for the elderly who may struggle with steps, wheelchairs & mobility scooters. We hope you will visit again next time you are in Sidmouth : )

YOU HAVE TO GO HERE!! The Yellow Deli is owned & run by the most lovely people. They have restored this gorgeous building and transformed it into an informal eatery which is so well looked after, one could eat off the floor. A varied menu & an option to build your own lunch cannot fail to please. The Chilli is fabulous but avoid eyes bigger than tummy syndrome! I ordered a bowl and a mug would probably have done! Do ask the history behind Yellow Deli. These charming, lovely people have an interesting story to tell. Make sure you try it soon!
Escot Park is a beautiful park and gardens. It is quite famous for its red squirrels although they are in an enclosure. The restaurant is run along the lines of National Trust properties although this is not a NT venue. The food tends to be traditional simple British fare and is wholesome and very good value for money. We have been several times and its testimony is that we keep going back so it must be good.

At least it was open on Sunday. Quite the worst black coffee I have had for a long time - brown, cloudy lukewarm, and not even an aroma of coffee. The waitress kindly replaced it with tea. My wife's soup, (tomato and red pepper) £4.25, was deep red but with a ring of oil round the top. Flavour was just 'OK'. I hadn't had breakfast before leaving Cornwall, so didn't feel too guilty about ordering a senior citizen breakfast which was more than enough, but egg and bacon had been lasting around and were dry. Plate was warm + and sausage was good. Made the best of it. Staff were friendly and willing, but won't be back.

This is a great place to eat home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere. Generous portions served by great staff at a fair price. Breakfast is a must and lunch too - if you can find the room. Every age group flock to this diner - well worth your time when you're on the go and budget.

This establishment is relatively new and is run by a charity. It is run by a very friendly lady. It has a limited menu which is great value. Also a range of cakes and pastries. The cafe is located in the building formerly the home of Barclays Bank. In my view well worth supporting.Thank you for your comment. We appreciate your support and taking time to write a review.

We go out for coffee and toast most days and we have enjoyed our visit to this farm shop.We won't be going again. The huge increase is prices is not acceptable. £12 for drinks and toast for two is £2 more than Darts and £3 more than Greendale. Check out the prices of your competitors or you will loose all your customers?Whilst we appreciate your comments, we feel the need to respond. As you will recognise our Farm Shop and Cafe are of an artisan nature and there is no comparison to outlets of the size of Darts Farm and Greendale. Our sour dough bread is baked here, our marmalade is hand-cut and cooked in the farm shop kitchen, as are all of our preserves, using only natural ingredients not gelling agents or thickeners. Our coffee is sourced from a local blender and our tea is supplied by the Dorset Tea Company. We feel it is important to support our local producers and will always endeavour to do so. However, we are aware that there is always going to be a higher cost than if we sourced from a large cash and carry. It is also worth noting that this is the first price increase we have made since we opened. We are sorry that we wonât be seeing you again, we enjoyed your amusing anecdotes and friendly chats.Andrea & Beth
