This is a very trendy cafe with Americana decor, an eclectic owner, and a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a lunch or dinner date with that special someone. Although curry doesn't seem like a 'date-like' food, I beg to differ with Horizon Curry Works. They offer a very unique menu, and have many options for those looking for an interesting take on traditional Japanese style curry. In particular, I got the ahi tuna katsu curry, which was delicious, and the ahi was cooked just right (still pink in the middle). This coupled with the wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean made it a lunch to remember!

Went during lunch time. Cozy, good taste, good music(JAZZ!), books and magazine(Art, Interior, and Children books). Staff are friendly. It renovated an old American-type of hosing, has a couple of separated room, also main dining area. But here is the cons, a parking is the other side of the street...

A tropical country resort style cafe where you can forget about your daily life and enjoy healthy food made with domestic Japanese beef and fruits. The view of the sunset is so wonderful that you can forget the flow of time while sitting on a spacious sof
I had the pleasure of eating at this cafe for the first time today. It's now on the top of my list of places to eat in the Chatan/American village area. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were gracious and accommodating. The service was quick and issues with my order. I had one of the lunch specials plus the smoked salmon. For the price, the portions were generous. Planning to go back as soon as possible. Highly recommended for a pleasant brunch or lunch.

From the macaroni and cheese, voodoo rolls, and shrimp étouffée, this place is my favorite spot on island! The owner is funny and welcoming and the staff are great! I eat here at least once a week! The decor and atmosphere are fun, yet family friendly! For those interested in a good time, the bar has a good variety as well! If you live here or are just visiting, stop by, you will not be disappointed

I went here because it was down the road from our place. I have heard nothing but great things and let me tell you this place lived up to the hype. First and foremost, if you can walk, do that because parking is very tight, you can always go past it and park on the beach and walk back, but I am not sure how "legal" that is.The place is small (surprise!) but very homey with large wood plank floors. There's a surf cottage and lesson place across the street, Ill have to look into that later. Tables are comfortable, and I think there is a back room to handle the overflow, we sat in the front but saw people coming in and being led to a back room. Come to think about it I wonder what was back there? Maybe it was a mystical magical banana pancake world only the locals know about? Or, it could just be where the bathrooms are, Ill find out next time.My son had the M&M pancakes, and I had the banana pancakes. They were light, fluffy, and very well prepared. There's a sign that says be patient on the wall because they make each order as they get it, but honestly it didn't take too much time at all. They also have games and puzzles to keep kids of all ages entertained while waiting for your food.Juices! I had a large mango juice, yeah you could tell this wasn't a frozen kind, very fresh. My son had a guava juice, he loved it.For 3 of us with juices it came out to about 26 bucks, not too bad. Although I could have easily eaten another order of banana pancakes!

This cafe offers a vibrant atmosphere with indoor/ outdoor seating. We love the hotcakes - soft and fluffy though there were presented simple. Everything was good - this is an ideally excellent lunch spot which overlooks the seafront. Though there was a queue, with their reasonable prices, this café definitely worth the wait.

A large, high-ceilinged lounge where you can enjoy a nice drink (try the Okinawa Margerita where tequila is replaced by awamori, the local spirit). Snacks include a large variety of cakes and excellent pizza with local foodstuffs, e.g. the bitter melon known as goya.
