Frankâs Bar is a cafe-bar in central Norwich. We have filled our bar with good food, top drinks, marvelous music and general chilled-outness. Weâre happy for you to enjoy Frankâs Bar in a range of different ways, whether it be with a coffee, glass of wine
Great atmosphere, welcoming staff and amazing food for great value. Initially went for coffee in the afternoon and went back for supper. Lovely menu and had one of the best meals Iâve had for a long time... Norfolk pork belly with puy lentil and chorizo casserole. Recommended!

Not really THAT into pies but had heard about this place and seen pictures and just had to go for the experience - they do veggie options for those who are inclined but I only eat chicken breast and was apprehensive. The peas and gravy in themselves were a wow factor and the rest was just bliss.

No 33 is a small independent cafe located in the heart of Norwich on Exchange Street. We serve great coffee, hearty breakfasts, freshly prepared lunches and delicious homemade cakes in a relaxed and friendly environment.
I have been here a few times during the day for coffee / cake but not for breakfast. It was VERY dissapointing. After taking about 15 mins to come to the table and take my order. I had a cappuccino that was really just a latte with a bit of foam on top in a rounded cup, smoked salmon and poached eggs on sourdough. The smoked salmon was WAY too salty (very poor quality) to a point where there was no salmon taste, just salt and the sour dough had barely been toasted (if at all). The whole thing was over salty, over squishy and completely under whelming. I have been left with a nasty acid indigestion for the rest of the day as a result of the salmon and won't be going back for breakfast any time soon!I'm so sorry to hear that the breakfast wasn't to your liking. I must be honest, I have never had any negative feedback regarding the salmon before. I can assure you it's a high quality salmon from the local fish merchants. Of course, I was very concerned to receive your feedback so have specifically come in today to test the salmon, however, I have been unable to detect any excess saltiness. Maybe it was a bad batch or a personal preference. Either way, I apologise that you didn't enjoy it. I have passed your comments about the under toasted toast on to the kitchen. We do serve very thick sourdough with our Benedicts so it will always be softer in the middle. However, we could always do thinner sliced bread if that's what's preferred. I would urge you in the future to speak up at the time. I spoke to everyone working yesterday and nobody was aware of any complaints . If you had mentioned it at the time, we would have very happily rectified any issues or replaced the breakfast with another dish. Nothing is ever too much when it comes to having our customers leave happy. It does feel somewhat malicious to receive a very negative public denouncement when we haven't been given the opportunity to resolve the issue on the day. I'm sure you would have left feeling happier, as would we because it's always awful for us to hear that someone has gone away so disappointed. It was busy yesterday so I apologise that you felt the service was slower than usual. 15 minutes is excessive but so I will be looking back at the cctv to see what has occurred in this instance. Regards Nichola

Great value 3 course dinner menu; £22.95 pp; lovely food, good portions & friendly staff! âï¸We both thought that the mushroom starter was particularly delicious and I loved my vanilla & chocolate cheesecake. My husband really enjoyed his cheese & biscuits; a good selection with loads of grapes too. Definitely intend to return for the mushrooms again, plus there were a couple of other desserts Iâd like to try!!! Hi Liz, thank you soo much for the great review and thank you for your custom. Please do let us know what we would need to do to get a 5 star!!!!!! we are always looking to improve. It would be great to see you again soon so please hurry back again. Thanks again,Team 'House'

Called in for breakfast to see what this place is like after hearing rave recommendations. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I just want to call a few things out that didnât feel right. Music bit loud first off - I would make bit more background volume. Toast - not asked if white, brown, wholemeal etc. Eggs - again not asked what type we want - one was runny and one not. Price - when youâre paying quite a lot - small breakfast nearly £8, you expect something special - and veggie one same price? It was fine and did job - but Iâm sorry to say not worth price. Other than above points had nice experience. Oh wow! What a totally unfounded 'average' review we have here! You obviously have difficulties communicating with people, if you had took it upon yourself to ask any of our hard working staff on any of your above issues we would of happily fulfilled your needs. We have a room with no speakers in where you could of comfortably sat or maybe of even asked for the volume to be turned down. And yes, our fried breakfasts do come with a fried egg (as stated on the menu) & white bread as standard, again if you had happened to talk to us we do serve scrambled eggs & granary bread on request.I'm surprised that someone who is willing to pay Roger Hickman's prices finds £7.45 for a full English breakfast excessive. Weather it is a traditional, vegetarian or vegan, these ingrediants have to be sourced, prepared & cooked to our high standard.Having read your other reviews with your derogatory remarks about fellow independent businesses maybe you should realise there are hard working passionate human beings on the other end of your reviews.

Saporita is the union of taste, semplicity and traditional of the real italian street food.
This little place gets it just right, it keeps it simple and does what it does so well. They were so willing to adapt to my dietary requirements and produce something that was perfect in every way. I had a piadina made from dough that was absolutely stunning, it just melted in the mouth I really do not know how they do it. It was topped with toppings of my choice and seasoned to absolute perfection. This is one of those places which is a real delight to come across. The prices were very reasonable, the service delightful.
