Things to do in Midland
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Barako Cafe Grill has something for everyone. Barakoâs subtle sophistication mixed with casual style and the fusion of cafe and Filipino food attract regular patrons, out-of-towners and interstate visitors. After a few recommendations from Gary (chef and proprietor who warmly greeted us) we ordered the crispy pata kare-kare, chicken inasal and pork bbq stick. The crispy pata was the hero of the dish however I think the pale kare kare sauce had too much corn flour. I wanted a rich and creamy smooth sauce where the accompanying shrimp paste will complement the robust peanut taste. For dessert, we highly recommend the house-made, pièce de résistance buco-pandan or ube ice cream. Worth a visit.
I had a long day at the hospital and came here for dinner. The staff was friendly and provided good customer service. The food was quite nice and coffee was quite good. A good spot to relax for a few minutes to enjoy a drink and meal.

Aunty Cath's is a hidden gem in Helena Valley the service and staff are excellent the meals are the best and my wife is very partial to their home made pies. If you require a friendly restaurant this is the place to go and you will definitely not be disappointed. We also love the décor and the surroundings it makes your dining very warm and comfortable to enjoy your meal.
Located just around the corner from the Midland Townhall clock, with reasonable free parking available nearby, there is a small cafe well worth a look. The decore is nothing to write home about and there are only a handful of tables - with these hugging two of the walls. But don't let that put you off. Nor the fact that the cost of a meal is not all that cheap. So why would you don the nosebag here? Because the food is very good and because the service is friendly, efficient and professional. That's why it's worth a try, and why I'll go back there.

Started visiting Little Vines since it opening . Well to me it has gone backwards . The services was poor . Couldn't get our drinks correct and seemed confused when going back with a issue . They seemed to have simplified there menu on this night we where there .More like pub grub. They did have a 50th party on this night too. We stayed for a couple of drinks but decided to eat some here else . Don't think we will be back.

We regularly go here on a Sunday morning for an early breakfast. The menu offers plenty of choices; the mondo breakfast, pancakes and omlettes we can safely say are delicious!! Service is friendly and prompt and it's reasonably priced! Really the best place we've had breakfast in midland!!

Great setting. Was a hot day, there was some ceiling fans working in progress but I think it still would have deterred many a customer from enjoying the beautiful tranquility by the riverside. Food was nice as they had an all day menu and a menu specific for breakfast and lunches etc. Hidden behind the school but there is signage .

We had a group booking for a high tea - my very first high tea experience. I was really impressed! The food was delicious & there was a big variety as well. I particularly loved the lavender macarons - I could've eaten a couple more of these for sure. The staff were lovely & nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is very popular & it was pretty much full this particular day. Thoroughly recommend!

My wife and I had lunch on Tuesday 13/08/19 at Padburys Café Restaurant the décor is very historic, the choice of meals quite extensive. I had the Steak Sandwich and my wife the Beer Battered Whiting, both meals were cooked just right and were very enjoyable along with a nice glass of white wine., from a local vineyard.
