Wellcome at Gloria's Lounge & Cafe! An exquisite British cafe and a sensational lovingly hand made cakes! We serve freshly ground Coffee, Breakfasts and Lunches. We also specialise on birthday and Anniversary cakes and decorations.
Popped in here for a spot on lunch, just had jacket with tuna and he had omelette & chips (his chips were very nice) both were nice. It was a sunny day so we sat out in the garden which was a nice surprise, only small but a nice option. We will go back for a nice little cheap eat,

Fabulous place for breakfast. Have been several times. Quick service. Loyalty cards. Fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices. Breakfast comes in 2 different sized portions & the 'smaller' one is plenty for most appetites. I made the mistake of ordering the large one once but I'm afraid it defeated me!! All breakfast come with a choice of coffee or tea served in a mug, plus thick slices of bread & butter or toast on the side. Free newspapers to read, whilst you wait for your meal. Friendly staff & quick service.

Went on margate meltdown weekend. Ordered food and then told to move as they had forgotten table was already booked!! Not enough staff. Ran out of ice, Orange juice, clean glasses! Basically could not cater for the busy weekend. More used to one or two tables being filled which they can cater to. If itâs busy avoid!

Iâve visited The Greedy Cow previously and I was impressed before - and they didnât disappoint again. A round of toasties was really lovely and a set of brownie and cookie were also great. Circling seagulls were a bit of a nuisance and every time someone left they jumped onto the table to try and steal leftover food. Kind of off-putting and not very relaxing for lunch! All in all great though - Iâd come back in the sun!

WOW saw the red bus cafe on Facebook as one of the top 10 places in Kent to eat and I wasnât disappointed. I had the hangover hash and was delighted with an alternative full English my wife had a light bite breakfast of the most amazing mushrooms and tomatoes on toast, along with a fabulous breakfast the view from the top of an old double decker bus across Margate beach and fantastic friendly staff made for a great morning treat. Visited on a Thursday night in a group of 6 the restaurant was full and with just one chef the service slow. The room is a bit small and dated however the food was excellent and more than made up for any shortfalls in other areas. Loved that it was a byob which saved a fortune- glasses provided and a shop opposite if you do not bring enough with you A great place to go for a relaxed meal with the best Thai food I have ever had .

A superb place for a lunch time snack or afternoon tea, never seen such a long list of different and unusual teas. Linked to superb friendly and super efficient service. Canât fault in any way and anyone visiting Margate would be mad not to try it, but donât count the calories. Just be warned must pay by cash.
