Having visited & left disappointed a couple of years back, we decided to give it another go. I had the beef burger & my company had the steak with chimichurri & onion rings. My burger was delicious with a very generous amount of super tender meat & crispy fries. The steak & chimichurri was great but could've done with a little more flavour. Would have also been better with a little salad of coleslaw on the side. The service was great!

we have tried Urban Soul 3 times in the last 6 months and each time we have enjoyed lovely tasty food, hot enjoyable coffees and great service. Other customers seemed to be enjoying their food and the vibe of the place.

Only the second time i've gone there. The first time was for brekkie and really enjoyed it with some family. Decided to try it for dinner this time and they were really awesome. Fast, friendly service, attentive and awesome portions! MyPartner and i both left stuffed. My only downer was the garlic bread, it smelt/tasted like it was out all day and possibly the day before so that was pretty gross but our meals were good and prices weren't too bad either - left quite satisfied and would definitely recommend!

The Gipsy Moth brings a neighbourhood feel of metropolitan Auckland to you where you least expect it - at the Airport. Escape the pace of travelling life and step into a a down-to-earth, nurturing atmosphere bolstered by kiwi hospitality - where you can i
$26 for two elderly pieces of panini bread, enclosing a small slice of tasteless ham luncheon each, a very small sliver of butter, a shaving of seed mustard, 2 wafer then slices of tomato, so thin I could not taste them, a portion of the outer outer limp lettice lettuce leaf from last weeks fresh lettuce harvest and a spattering of a tasteless mayonaise with a few lonely drops of grated cheese spread around for good measure. And then toasted to a crisp, so toasted in fact that like all over toasted old paninis, they couldnt be cut by any knife known to the restaurant, and were singed burnt in places as well.Wow! And all this charred lifelessness for $26. Hey, for $26 I wanted something that was packed full of goodness, that stood up and said âIm wonderful, pick me, that played me a symphonyâAnd this just after asking for a Tuatara APA and a Monteiths Cider on tap to go with said disappointing panini. That was a joke too. â can I have smaller gless than that one pleaseâ I said of the APAâ âNoâ said the very wise bar lady and when I pointed out the smaller glasses on the shelf behind her, said that no, they were weighted. I would have to buy a bottle ( the Tuatara APA was NOT offered to me in a bottle) . I asked if they were a government department with all their strange rules and regulations seeing they were the ONLY bar I had been into anywhere in the world that would only serve tapped beer in a glass twice the size that I wanted and where I could then make a decision, after having paid for something I only wanted half of, I could perhaps drink half of it and maybe swim in the other half whilst waiting for my transfer flight. She thought the government department line was quite good though, but took twoce what I wanted to pay for the APA and the Cider and we dutifully drank half each to wash down the truly nasty but at least unbelievably lousy panini. Will we eat there again?, not even if hell freezes over, besides I already have a mortgage. What a joke of a place and the worst thing as listening to a couple near us complaining what they had been sold as food as well. So its not just us âfreshâ from a long international flight and wanting some good old kiwi comfort food and being let down by the welcome home. Its others as well What an appalling placeDavid thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we believe all feedback whether good or bad is invaluable for us to maintain or keep improving our offer. I am genuinely sorry to hear that you didnât enjoy this experience with us and whilst I do not seek to justify or defend the service you received, we donât always get it right. We endeavor to fix any mistakes at the time of the visit so that all our guests leave feeling they have enjoyed themselves, unfortunately we werenât given this opportunity.Your right we only have pint sizes for our tap beers, and I get it that this might be too much for some of our guests, we do have a great selection of bottle beers, including low alcohol and even O% beer as well. As I understand the bartender offered our tuatara weiz guy as we donât have APA in a bottle, but sadly that offer was rejected. And the glasses at the back of the bar were stemless wine glasses. If you do change your mind and decide to come in again, we are more than happy to try out a beer in a wine glass for you.
Very busy bakery/cafe with outside seating. Good range of foods. Tried the pepper steak pie to judge consistently. Okay but mediocre. Also tried Cajun beef roll and chicken roll. Once again okay but not outstanding. Prices were good and coffee okay but middling.Overall satisfactory.

Had a very late lunch here sat outside. If you are on a budget ,this is the place to go. The staff were great, cheapest Milkshakes and lots of food choices. The cakes in the cabinet looked tempting but we were to full after the meal.

We did each get a doughnut to nosh on before bedtime. Mine was filled with caramel. Very tasty. We don't have DD where we live, so it was a special treat.

We stopped off for breakfast, it was ideal for us as it was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There were a lot of menu options available throughout the day, and there was a good selection of breakfast options. A good choice in the Mangere area.

My husband works at the airport so my sons and I decided to meet him for a birthday lunch. I booked online but there were plenty of seats inside and outside the restaurant. The menu is very interesting and healthy and suited all four of us. Service was friendly but slow. We waited half an hour for our drinks to come out and then another 10 minutes for food. My sons drink came after the food and the Waitress was apologetic. Perhaps they were short staffed in the kitchen? Anyway the food made up for the wait and the cabinet food looked good too. There's plenty of parking and is right next door to the Ibis Hotel. I would return if I was near the airport for any reason.
